Our Difference Local Transportation

Local Cuisine

For us it is very important to have a safe and secure drive. We want our clients to have the best driving experience. Thats why our drivers are chosen based on their driving experience around the Balkan, their ability to always impart a positive atmosphere in the group and their care for the vehicle. Our drivers are well trained and have an extensive information about the region as well so you can always count on their advice.

We always use for our groups the best restaurants in town which include traditional menus as well so that everyone can have a taste of the local cuisine. Variety is a must, that’s why we keep on creating menus that reflect the local atmosphere and quality of food making the local experience a memorable one. Our restaurants selection have a good reputation for reliability and good food and are known for their desire to do the best for our clients.

Our Tourguides

Accommodation

They have a great knowledge and insight about the region, so they show you how to get the most of your trip. They are very friendly and know how to relate to the group. Our guides always bring their own stories and perspective when sharing their information about the region so you will not feel like you are skimming through the cultural surface of the country. They are able to understand the needs of the group and respond accordingly.

Our hotels offer the best balance between price, quality and service. Many of them are managed by families where the atmosphere is really intimate and full of character. For our Walking Trips in Albania we stay in shepherd huts situated in the alpine pastures. It is really an amazing experience. The location and freedom to move around is as well important for us, so we carefully have selected hotels from where you can easily access the main points of interest on foot.

Why choose Sondor? We make it PERSONAL We know that when you’re traveling, you are who you are right at that moment in time. People don’t have your past to hold against you, no yesterdays on the road. That is why we make sure that your TODAY with us becomes a tomorrow full of positivity.

I joined a walking tour in Albania and our guide Dori was brilliant; he has a wealth of knowledge and passion for Albania and he was able to show us a side of Albania that I don’t think any of us on the tour could ever have imagined. He led us confidently on all of the hikes using his local knowledge and contacts to ensure we got an authentic taste of Albania. On the more cultural side of the tour he was able to give us so much information on the history of the country and could easily augment the information that was being given by the local guides. I would have no issue recommending Sondor Travel if you are planning a trip to Albania. LondonTravelLady, Visited July 2016

I went as an individual joining a group of other adventurers from UK and USA on a 9 day tour.... Most of us had no idea what to expect of Albania but we had a wonderful time led by the amazing Dori. We saw and trekked in, beautiful countryside; met generous, welcoming people; stuffed ourselves on fabulous food and stayed in great hotels/ guesthouses in superb locations. The ethos of the company seems to be to spread the word about what a wonderful country Albania is - and I can only agree wholeheartedly. Huencry, Visited July 2016
