Understanding This document explains the information about Request a Quote extension. This magento extension allows customers on your Magento shopping cart website to request quotes for products instead of immediately adding them to the shopping cart. Customers can suggest their own best price for each products right in the product page or product list. Administrators can accept/reject customer's suggested price and suggest a final price that makes both sides satisfied. This extension encourage customers to buy more products by allowing them to negotiate the price for items. Customers can easily check their request status and select an action depend on their choices.
Features 1. With the help of this extension the customer may buy multiple products at affordable prices 2. All the created quotations get listed 3. Works with simple and custom option Magento product types 4. Admin has the liability of editing the requested quote for acceptance/rejection and declination 5. Quote information is displayed in Magento backend and is visible to the user 6. Customers can request for more than one quote once they are logged in 7. User may set re-quote comments 8. Users may convert quotes to order

Steps to be taken for installation >>Step-1. Login with your Magento admin.
>>Step-2. Go to system -> Magento Connect -> Magento Connect Manager

>>Step- 3. Login with Magento Connect Manager (with your Magento admin credentials)
>>Step-4. Upload package file (purchased file) in direct package file upload section and click on upload.

>>Step-5. Return to Magento admin and clear cache from System -> Cache Management
>>Step-6. Logout from Magento admin and re-login.
How This Extension Works at Back End? >>Step-1. After installation go to Quotation>>Manage Quotation Quotation Manager page will be open Store owners can view list of requested quotes by customers List will include created date of quote , proposal price, email , name , city and phone number of customer.

>>Step-2. Admin can manage quote by editing proposal price
Admin can change Quote Request Status Accepted/Rejected Admin can add Quote Comments which will be e-mailed to customer General comments will be visible to customer at frontend. Proposal price will be shown on customer’s dashboard.
>>Step-3. Admin can revise price proposed by the customer or simply can accept proposed price.

>>Step-4. Customer’s comment and Admin’s comment will list under Quotation Information and Admin can reply to customer by clicking on ‘Reply Link’
How This Extension Works at Front End on Customer’s End? >>Step-1. My Quote will be added in customer’s Dashboard at front end All quotes created by customer will list under ‘My Quotes’
