One thing you want to accomplish in 2013? To be more
affordable.
active in the way I support other women. I’ll start small with giving other women genuine compliments; I usually keep them in. But it’d be great if we all really could just quit these weird jealousy and inferiority complex issues we have toward each other.
What is your current favorite design trend? Originality. Favorite shelter read? House Beautiful, Elements of Style; Erin had major influence in my starting my blog. Before I even get out of bed, I check out her new post. Every morning.
What’s one thing people may not know about you? I listen to Electric Dance Music every time I drive, on high volume. It’s always a party in my car. When people get in, I change the station and pretend it never happened.
Favorite city? Los Angeles. It’s home. Favorite bloom? Hot pink coxcomb.
What’s one design faux pas that people should avoid at all costs? Being overly matchy-matchy. Don’t be afraid to mix things up! The matchymatchy look isn’t indicative of one’s personality.
I never leave home without... chapstick. Design Style Icon? Tamara Kaye-Honey for her playful, modern approach to design. And she’s genuinely nice.
I collect... quirky home accessories. Secret small joy... I kind of like it when my husband goes out of town because I’ll be sneaky and eat fast food.
