The grocery store is packed, you just want five sweet potatoes, and the magazine covers in the checkout line say you only need 10 tips to handle holiday stress. What you need is a shorter line. So many families, so little time. Survive the season. Crash and burn out. Recover. Repeat. This season, remember that nothing is so delicious as the quiet moments between chaos. Let go where you are able, make being kind more important than being right. Give more, ask less. Bring a baker’s dozen. Less handheld, more hand-holding.These are the moments you’ll search for later...keep them in your mental Instagram. Taste is a time machine and you can order from the secret menu. Have a sweet tooth for life. Eat it up with a fancy spoon. Press pause on your sense memory, remember that comfort food is always the flavor of love. May you discover how sweet it is to taste the past and feast with your heart. May you always dive into what makes your mouth water. May your glass always be half full, and raised in a toast. Enjoy. Love. Repeat.
