Saint Joseph's rallied from a 16‐point second‐half deficit to defeat Duquesne in overtime, 84‐82. Carl Jones knocked down a jumper to tie the game at 78‐78 at 5.4 seconds. Duquesne had a chance to win in regulation, but C.J. Aiken blocked one of his career‐high nine shots to force overtime. In the extra period, SJU would never trail. The Dukes tied the game at 82‐82 with 1:56 left, but Aiken hit a layup at 1:32 for the game‐winner.
