The average list price for single family home sales in April 2014 was $2,718,000 compared to $1,622,417 for April 2013, representing a 68% increase. For the three-month period from February to April 2014, the average list price was 38% higher than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for April 2014 was $2,615,444, compared to that of February through April 2014, which was $1,938,501. Comparing April 2014 to March 2014, Venice saw a 51% increase in average sale price, and a 60% increase compared to same month of the prior year.
