APRIL MARKET OVERVIEW In Sunset Strip - Hollywood Hills West there were 35 single family home sales in April 2014, down from 44 in April 2013 and a 3% decrease from the 36 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in April 2014 was $2,241,054 compared to $2,015,266 for April 2013, representing an 11% increase. For the three-month period from February to April 2014, the average list price was 16% higher than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for April 2014 was $2,176,692, compared to that of February through April 2014, which was $2,268,986. Comparing April 2014 to March 2014, Sunset Strip - Hollywood Hills West was flat in average sale price, but a 13% increase compared to same month of the prior year.
