This first release focuses on 4 main themes including: Autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Supernatural Our magazine is headed up by Simtech Forum and is currently staffed by members of the forum. Simplistic Magazine focuses on showcasing creators, story writers, and other fellow simmers that may get lost in the crowds. We love to see others expressing their creative side, and we truly encourage it. We will always be on the lookout for new, old, or upand-coming stars throughout the simming community. If you would like to be featured or know of another interesting simmer who should be featured please let us know! We are a friendly bunch and we ALWAYS welcome new members at Simtech Forum and truly appreciate when others share their opinions with us. Networking. I have been playing The Sims for many years now. I started with Sims 2 but was never addicted to the pixel characters until Sims 3. That is when my whole interpretation changed! LOL I was hooked, reeled in like a fish on a line. I came across the online simming community by chance and well, I just had to check it out further. I love to create sims mainly, but also dabble in creating CC for this game we all love. I have made some wonderful friends along the way. Who would have thought that a game could open up so many opportunities and bring together so many different people from all walkss of life? This, to me, is why I love the sims so much..not just for the game; but the friends, the learning experiences, and the diversity. This is a community and a place to share experiences (both good and bad), and to know there is always someone out there willing to help you. Now what more could you ask for? I love it! Long live the sims!!! LOL x

I have been playing the Sims since the earliest SimCity was available on SN (Super Nintendo); roughly 1993. I've played just about every version of Sims on all game consoles, but I fell in love with Sims3 on pc. Since starting to play Sims3 I was introduced to the online forums and have really enjoyed the company of fellow simmers who love to sim just as much as I do! I love hosting contests, challenges, and judging competitions. I am an artist in real life and really just truly enjoy seeing others express themselves creatively…..even in sims form! My adopted motto is: “Anyone can criticize….can You INSPIRE?” (Author Unknown.) I plan to always reflect on the meaning of this. It doesn’t matter what form art comes in; I can appreciate beauty in other’s creativity and their points of views. I enjoy the company of those who love to laugh and those who like to encourage others. I have met some very lovely people along the way and I look forward to meeting many more! Happy Simming !!

I been playing Sims for three? years (omg)... I don't honestly play the game anymore - but I love making sims and building, and taking everyones picture then messing about in ps or artrage with the result.I have a sense of humour, sometimes misunderstood,its a very British sense of humour, and some don't always 'get' it. But I love to see the funny side, often best. I draw, I write , I paint - I used to sew, but that seems to have slid into the background. (I really MUST shorten those curtains). I love learning new things, and the sims has taught me rather more than I expected from a game, a lot about computers.

I started creating for the Sims 3 in 2010 when I discovered the online community of Sim players and artists. With the help of many fellow simmers,I became a “Select Artist” for TSR in 2011. The creativity and diversity of the simming community is inspiring! I find myself wanting to learn anything and everything there is to know about the game and its seemingly endless outlets for creating. I've tried my hand in everything from meshing to modeling, and I absolutely love every minute of it! It's been a wonderful and fulfilling experience to be accepted into the simming community and the Simtech family.

I started playing The Sims 2 a couple of years ago but didn't know anything about the online community until I started playing The Sims 3 in 2011. My favorite things to do on The Sims 3 is creating and editing pictures, as well as writing stories. When I started to realize there was another “creating side” to The Sims 3; I loved it immediately! The modeling, picture making,competitions, etc., etc……all of it! I started joining many modeling competitions to try to develop my skills in picture taking and editing. That's how I found the wonderful family of Simtech. When I Joined I immediately felt the warm and friendly atmosphere; so I couldn't leave. I became an active member and soon Thereafter I joined the Staff as The Graphics Moderator. Now I'm grateful I can be part of the Simplistic Magazine Staff as The Graphics Artist’s Team Leader! My experience as a member of Simtech and the Sims Community have been amazing! I hope I can refine and increase my skills & abilities even more to be useful for this magazine and my lovely simming family at Simtech Forumotion!

I've been playing the Sims 3 for about two years, but I had been wanting to play for years. The idea of a game that involves playing with life excited me. My parents never really got it, why play a game that involves pretty much everything you already do? I still got it. I fell in love immediately! I played for about five months before I stumbled upon the Sims 3 forums. I was surprised by the amount of people that loved the game. When I stumbled upon the modelling side of the Sims, I was intimidated. I avoided it forever, but I knew I wanted to do it one day. At one point I just dove in head first. I loved it and I've been improving since. I hope to continue to improve throughout my time working on this magazine.

I have been apart of the simming community for quite some time. Ever since I've been playing the sims 3 game I have been discovering more new things about the sims: cc, creating, modelling, forums, and much more! I have improved much in my editing thanks to the comps I've entered at Simtech, regular artistic things I do on my pc, and manga I create. I am so glad to be playing the sims 3 and really enjoy the many features it offers. I dabble around a lot with cc and very soon you will be hearing about some cc creations and poses I will be sharing.....all it takes is a little trial and error first! lol
Mamajanaynay My first introduction to The Sims was in 2007 when I started playing Busting Out after watching two of my daughters play. I was hooked immediately. I then started playing The Sims 2 on my pc and liked it, so when The Sims 3 came out I became a complete addict. I joined a couple of sims fan groups, and became active on The Sims 3 site, just a smidge. I quickly found that I really enjoy making homes for my families, fell in love with CC after a friend introduced me to it, but I'm not talented enough to create anything like that, and my latest adventure has been writing my own legacy story, again another friend turned me on to that. I don't think there is a expansion pack or stuff pack that has come out that I didn't like, super excited for Seasons! I can get lost in my game for hours and I never know what silly quirky things my sims are going to do. That's about it about me...oh yeah...Peace out, Be safe and Take care!

She sat down with a sigh and took her shoes off. It had been a long day but it had been lovely to see the grandchildren. My she thought that Billy looks just like his grandad. Same eyes. Same colouring. She looked out the window at the moonbeams sparkling in the frosty garden. Just behind her stood William. He had always been there, though she never saw him. He had been there since the day his plane was shot down in enemy action thirty years before. He looked at her fondly, he knew the long years of widowhood had been hard, bringing up two children on her own had not always been easy, he could not help except by trying to influence her decisions when she sat and cried that she could not do this on her own any more. She still sat, knowing she should go to bed, but still sat remembering. Today would have been her fortieth wedding anniversary. Lor she thought, I thought that outfit was splendid. It had been made by her mother and sister, and they had begged and borrowed bits from all around to give her a pretty outfit for the day she married her handsome young officer.
Will softly laughed too, he remembered the day and the days of blissful happiness that followed until he went back on duty. They had had five years almost together when he had had to leave her. They had one young son, James (after his father) and there was another one on the way. That was little Felicity, now known as Flick.
He had seen them grow and seen her care for them. He had rather wanted her to meet someone new to help her but she never seemed to take to any of the men she met. Pity he thought, such a lovely woman should have met someone she could love, even in a different way. So he stayed. Even though she never saw him - he stayed. She stood up and yawned, my she thought, I really am tired, never mind its bedtime and tomorrow is another day. So she undressed and got into bed, turned off the lamp and fell asleep. Will sat in the chair by the window and watched over her.
Sometime in the night, her sleep fell into a deeper rest and her breathing slowed down until she took one last small breath and then with a sigh no more. As her spirit rose up she saw Will. For the first time‌. Oh Will! You waited! He smiled and took her hand and they left this earth together. Forever.

InaMac - If you could create the next EP what would it be? JustMe - I would merge Sims with The Elderscrolls (roleplaying game). I would add questing, leveling up the character with skills, abilities, talents, I'd add weaponry, enemies, theft.... I'd do a complete revamp. Although that might be a whole new game rather than a new EP. Maybe something to think about for Sims 4? What do you say EA? InaMac - Now that would be a very interesting game to play indeed, hmm I wonder if EA will read this and take note‌..Is there anything you would like to add to make Simtech a better place? JustMe - Nope, I think it's great InaMac - In your own words, what is the best and worst bits about the sims? JustMe - Best~ The creativity that this game allows. The Countdown by LoopyLou (Simtech) I've had this feeling for a while now, there is something there I know it. So I've decided to write everything down incase something happens to me, I want my family to know incase they can't find me. It's coming. It started about three months ago, well the more serious stuff, beforehand I’ve had the feeling that I'm being watched or a presence is with me type thing? But anyway, three months ago I had just finished a double shift ,went home had my dinner, as I walked through the hall towards the bathroom I heard a creak, didn't think much of it until I felt a draft as well. It was my front door just lying open, now I know I was tired but there isn't a chance I would forget to shut my door. So I slowly made my toward it, listening for any movement. Silence. So I shut it and tugged on it to perhaps see if there was a fault,but no it stayed firmly shut. I put the chain on and went for my shower, thinking I must of just not clicked it in place right.
After that I made some hot chocolate and went through to the bedroom. It was 4:32AM when I looked at the clock, no idea why I had woken. As I rolled over to get back to sleep I heard it again, that creaking noise. I got out of bed and tiptoed to the hallway.
The front door was wide open. Someone was in my flat. Someone was in here with me. I ran toward the door, I needed to get out. I heard my bedroom door slam behind me. I'm sure of it. Banging on my neighbours door I was terrified, she let me in and called the police. They came and searched the place. Nothing. Nothing was missing, no sign of forced entry, and my bedroom door was open, they said. When you’re afraid the mind can play tricks on you, they said. I was obviously tired and not put the chain on the door properly,the door was old and I hadn't clicked it shut properly, they said. They were wrong.
I woke up at 3:21AM with a terrible thirst. Made my way to the kitchen and poured a glass of water. As I stood drinking it I could hear a noise, like something being dragged. As I turned there it was, a kitchen chair it had moved,from the corner to the middle of the room under the wooden beams. I sat my glass down and walked toward it. As I put my hand out to move the chair the glass shot past my head and smashed against the wall. I stood. Frozen. A few moments passed and I ran back to my room. I was tired again that's all, I had imagined it. The glass just fell. Yes the glass just fell.
Things like this were becoming more common. Nobody would believe me. I just tried to ignore it.
I didn't want to see it, I didn't have to see. It was in my head,I could hear it trying to get in. Clawing,scratching at the back of my mind. It wasn't going to get in. I won't let it.
2:10AM, I heard movement in my cupboard. I just lay in my bed looking at it. Then the door It's always there now niggling started to open so I shut my eyes. trying to worm it's way in.
1:00AM. I woke up to find myself standing in my kitchen. The chair had been moved again. Was it me sleep walking all this time? Had my subconscious just been toying with me? I had been working a lot recently. Ha,all this time I had thought something was after me. Thank goodness I hadn't told anyone, I would have been locked up as a mental patient. I suppose I don't really need to be writing this anymore but I have got myself into habit. I think I shall keep it as a reminder at how close I was to losing my mind.
It is 00:00 AM I am writing this for my family. I do not deserve to live anymore. What we done to him was wrong. No matter how much you try to forget He won't let you. He is coming for you all. He has already got me. Susan Athlon was found in her kitchen. She had climbed on to a chair tied a rope around the beam and hung herself.

Featured Competition This is the 2nd Cycle of this very popular male modelling competition to be hosted by ArtsyAmy and myself (InaMac69) We loved the idea of seeing some hunkalicious models strutting their stuff and boy we were not disappointed at all. This cycle we have been helped by fellow judge Jack and our WoW pickers Glitt and JustMe.

To view all the rules and what the comp is all about, head on over to the battle zone section at simtech forum, click on the MMM thread and all you need to know is there for you to read. So far we have had 8 rounds and we have just posted round 9 which is the semi final.

Throughout the competition we have our pole position card. This is where after each round the points are added up and the top model is safe followed by the next few but we do have the “Danger Zone” any models that fall below this line are subject to elimination. The elimination rounds start at round 5 so for the first 4 our models can build up those all important points.
Round 3 The escort - The guys had to escort “Agnes Crumplebottom” on a date/charity event.
1st Place Hozan All of our creators are so talented that even at this early stage in the comp it was so hard to judge.

Round 4 Here we honoured the Olympics and asked the models to compete in an event.

Some of our models and their creators have already left the comp at this stage. Either through having to withdraw due to RL events or being eliminated for failing to show. Its never a nice feeling when life plays havoc with our simming time LOL

After being issued with their training gear our “losers” chilled out for a bit. As you can see Candy had to sit next to her new best friend Marcie is she blowing her a kiss? Oh deat I think Dimitri has some competition. Reese is trying really hard not to look and Harriet well the look on her face says it all. In the yard, Coco is showing the boys how to play fooseball, ahem thats not all she’s showing. Are those shorts short enough??
Tomorrow sees the first weigh in. I wonder who is the heaviest and who will survive the gruelling training thats in store. Harriet has ordered 2 climbing walls and Dimitri has installed some gym equipment in the garage. Time for bed everyone your new day starts at 6am with a new nourishing breakfast - porridge oats - fruit - and water Yum sounds good - I will be having pancakes (Marcie says)

Our trainers have their work cut out with this lot. Some of our contestants are a bit camera shy. The red teams combined weight is 774 pounds and the blue team weighs in at 728 pounds. If you add both teams together thats about the same weight as a rhino. Who will conquer and who will be defeated? There is only one way to find out tune in next time to see our teams put to the test. Simtech Games ARCADE On the forum we have a section dedicated to arcade games. These were added at first, for something extra to to do. Boys Girls Recently though they have been the source of a gender war LOL Its boys v girls At the moment the boys hold high scores in pool and winter bow arrow as well as some others but the girls are hot on their heels. InaMac holds most of the highest scores overall.
