Welcome to JCC Aquatics at the Lucille and Jay Chazanoff Indoor Pool Complex The JCC Aquatics program offers the most diverse programming on Staten Island. If you want to learn how to swim, please make an appointment with our excellent instructors to guide and teach you or your child. From the very beginner to special needs swimmer or to more advanced stroke technique, the JCC has instructors in group or private lessons. We also offer Babies R’ Swimming with a parent and Aqua Zumba for all ages. We have swimming instruction/practice for Tri-athlete and Masters swimmers. Our Richmond Aquatics Club at the JCC is a US Swim Team consisting of members from 6 – 18 years of age. If your child is not quite ready for competition on RAC, we have a Pre-Competitive Skills program to help get your child ready by building endurance and working on correct strokes/starts and turns. For anyone who wants to train as an American Red Cross Lifeguard, we offer courses from December through June.

Claudia McLaughlin, Aquatics Director I have worked at the JCC since 1995 as a swim instructor, lifeguard, and Lifeguard Instructor.
