When I was a kid, my favorite thing about September was the start of the new season of television. I would read the fall preview issue of TV Guide and pick out all the new shows I was definitely going to love, way before they ever hit the small screen. I had a good picker, if I do say so myself, since most of the shows I preselected for loving went on to many, many seasons of success. Listen, I grew up in South Florida, it’s not like I had the changing of the leaves to look forward to or anything. Television was about as good as it got. These days things are kind of the same. I still check out all the new shows on the horizon, pick out the ones I am definitely going to love and set the DVR to record them all. The better than ever part is that the shows featuring strong, intelligent female leads are no longer as few and far between as they were when I was a kid. More and more women or every age, size and color are taking the reins and showing today’s little girls that they can grow up and become anything they choose. And with a three year-old little girl running around the house, I am way more excited that she is enamored with Anna and Elsa, sisters rescuing each other, than with Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty who both needed princes to save them. But now, September is about way more than the new season of TV shows. It’s also the start of a whole new season of festivals. We’ve got Womenfest Key West and Ladyfest kicking things off and then the Fort Lauderdale and Tampa Gay & Lesbian Film Festivals and Fantasyfest not far behind. So many opportunities, so many great things to see and do. Every day, more and more women of every age, size and color are coming out of the closet and showing the world that we don’t need a prince to save us. Yeah, September 2014 is exponentially better for females than Septembers of my childhood and proof positive that we don’t need a changing of the leaves to create a season of change. See you next month.

With casting still ongoing, the new reality show Utopia premieres on September 7 (FOX, 7 pm). Based on the hit Dutch show, Utopia follows fifteen people in their quest to create an entire society—from scratch! The group will have to decide everything from a system of government to social rules, armed with $10,000 and some farm animals. Created by the minds that brought you Dancing with the Stars and The Amazing Race, Utopia promises to be out of this world.

This is Where I Leave You is about a troubled, dysfunctional family sitting shiva for their patriarch. The hilarious Tina Fey stars as Wendy, one of the four Altman siblings (including Jason Bateman) destined to be deeply uncomfortable during the weeklong mourning practice. Jane Fonda is the recently widowed Altman mother, an oversexed celebrity psychologist best known for a hit guide to raising kids. With Adam Driver, Rose Byrne. In theaters September 19.

Madam Secretary (CBS, 8 pm, Sept 21) stars Tea Leoni as Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord, college professor and former CIA analyst who has returned to public life as a favor to the President after McCord’s predecessor mysteriously dies. The White House values McCord’s unique skills, including her flair for languages and her ability to think on her feet. Staring as McCord’s Chief of Staff is the everamazing Bebe Neuwirth. With Tim Daly, Patina Miller.

Out on September 23, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga join forces on Cheek to Cheek, a collection of duets. The first single—a cover of Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes”— has already topped Billboard’s Jazz Digital Songs chart. The rest of the album promises to be just as delicious, with classics revamped for a new generation, including Benny Goodman’s “It Don’t Mean a Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing” and “I Won’t Dance.”

New from drama mastermind Shonda Rhimes is the legal thriller How to Get Away With Murder (ABC, 10 pm, Sept 25), just after the season premieres of Grey’s and Scandal. The fantastic Viola Davis stars as brilliant and seductive law professor, Dr. Keating, who becomes entangled with four students. Little do her students know they’ll have to apply their frightening lessons to real life. With Katie Findlay, Billy Brown.

She: Their Love Story follows two storylines featuring a butch falling for a woman who appears to be straight. There’s Da (Apassaporn Saengthong) whose editor suggests that she write a piece about straight women who fall for lesbians. Enter the adorable Be (Kitchya Kaesuwan), Da’s neighbor. The second is about Jane, a tough-butquiet photographer who sets her sights on businesswoman Bua (Penpak Sirikul). On DVD Sept 30.

NOT TO BE MISSED: Icon Barbra Streisand is back on September 16 with her latest studio album, Partners. She performs duets with everyone from Billy Joel to Babyface, and many more. Enjoy an album’s worth of classic Babs hits, including “People” with Stevie Wonder and “The Way We Were” with Lionel Richie. SHE - 10 - 09/14

UCLA WILLIAMS INSTITUTE STUDY: ENDING FLORIDA MARRIAGE BAN MEANS JOBS AND A $182 MILLION BOOST TO STATE ECONOMY

Sept. 1, 2009—Vermont legalized same-sex

marriage. Sept. 4, 1957—The Report of the Departmen-

Mayors and municipalities across the state are speaking out in favor of striking down the ban that four Florida judges have declared unconstitutional. They have joined major players in the hospitality industry who are preparing for the day when Florida becomes a freedom to marry state.

Photo by Rock UR Photo Production.

“Estimating the Economic Boost of Marriage for Same-Sex Couples in Florida,” a new study released in August by UCLA’s Williams Institute, shows that Florida’s economy would get a massive economic boost from extending the freedom to marry to same-sex couples. According the report’s estimates, more than 24,000 same-sex couples would choose to marry over the next three years, bringing a potential $182.2 million to Florida’s economy, with nearly $117 million of that in the first year alone. The report also predicts that up to 2,626 jobs would be created in the Sunshine State due to the increased spending for same-sex couples’ weddings and celebrations. “This report is a strong, albeit conservative, indicator of the real economic benefit the freedom to marry would provide in Florida,” said Shane McMurray of The Wedding Report, Inc. “National data consistently shows that Florida is one of the top options for American couples planning destination weddings - an additional factor not discussed in this report, but one that would substantially add to the economic impact of marriage in the Sunshine State.” “There are hundreds of millions of dollars waiting to be spent in Florida by same-sex couples who yearn for nothing more than equal treatment under the law. It’s time for Florida to recognize that it is good for both families and business to extend the freedom to marry to same-sex couples,” said Bernadette Smith, nationally-renowned author and founder of 14 Stories, a wedding planning firm.

in lgbt history

Equality Florida’s CEO Nadine Smith says the financial impact is significant not only for the state’s economy but also for the couples who want the ability to take care of their loved ones. “Not only is ending the ban the right thing to do, but the research shows it is also the right thing for Florida’s economy. It is time for Florida to end this discrimination, allow gay families to protect our loved ones and become a wedding destination for all loving couples. That is a win for fairness and for our economy.”

what she said about... “We are pleased to hear the news that a federal judge in Florida has joined an evergrowing list of jurists in striking down misguided and unfair laws denying basic rights to same-sex couples. Despite the stay on the case, which puts a hold on same-sex couples being able to exercise their right to marry in Florida for now, we look forward to the day when marriage equality will finally be the law of the land.”

The Legal Handbook for LGBT Floridians WHAT and Their Families WHERE Equality Florida Institute has recently made available their free copy of their newly updated Legal Handbook for LGBT Floridians and Their Families, an amazing resource created in partnership with Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, one of Florida’s premier law firms. On its third edition, the 76-page resource includes critical information about the importance of long-term planning related to health, family and financial considerations, and why taking steps to protect one’s family is so critical, especially for LGBT Floridians. Many legal issues are addressed, including the implications of the Windsor decision, the current state of LGBT adoption, elder law, hate crimes, domestic partnership registries and what legal protections exist under Florida law. “Discriminatory laws and the lack of legal protections impose hardships and complicate ordinary life for LGBT Floridians,” said Nadine Smith, CEO of Equality Florida. “This vital resource is important for LGBT Floridians to understand how to protect themselves and their loved ones under the laws that currently exist.” Since the handbook discusses laws and policies that may change often, particularly with regards to LGBT rights, individuals are encouraged to verify specific information with legal counsel.

Musical about lesbian sexual awakening to open on Broadway A new musical based on a graphic novel by lesbian author Alison Bechdel will get its Broadway debut in time for next year’s Tony Awards. ‘Fun Home’ tells the story of how Bechdel learns of her sexual identity and recognises her father, who committed suicide when she was in college, was also gay.

Monday Night Women’s Group

In the production Bechdel narrates the musical as she drafts her novel and looks back on her life. Three actresses depict Bechdel as a child, at college age, and as an adult. Premiering at the Public theatre in New York City last October, ‘Fun Home’ was well received by critics and was honoured with best musical awards by several US theatre groups, including the New York Drama Critics’ Circle. It was also a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize in drama. ‘Fun Home’ has music by Jeanine Tesori and a book and lyrics by Lisa Kron. It will open on Broadway in April 2015 at Circle in the Square Theater, the cast has yet to be announced.

Forget about everything you thought you knew about Academy Award-winning actress and Grammy Award-winning recording artist Jennifer Hudson, “celebrity”, because you’re about to meet the real deal! JHUD, her third studio album, due out September 23rd, is exactly who she wants you to know - a true reflection of herself. Your new album JHUD comes out this September 23rd and wow! You’ve got a whole new look and such a fresh sound - what drove you towards this project?

Oh, thank you! It was really just about expressing myself and that’s what I love most - it’s a reflection of me, the person I am right now, the space I’m in now. It’s not Jennifer Hudson the persona or the celebrity; it’s JHUD, the girl. That’s why I named it JHUD (laughs) because that’s really me. I’m excited for people to get to know me, as a person through my music. You’re surrounded by such diverse producers on this project, each with their own style—Pharrell, Timabaland, R.Kelly on the “It’s Your World” track. How do you adjust to be able to work with each of them?

You know, it kind of just happened (laughs) and they’re all so strong, each of them, so strong in their own way. I said from the beginning that I wanted to work with people who knew me well. I didn’t want to work with anyone who didn’t know the real me. I’ve worked with all of them at different times before. I worked with R. Kelly on my last album, I worked with Timabaland and Pharrell on earlier stuff, so we all had an established rapport. Pharrell and I work together really well and Timabaland encouraged me to write. It was so motivational and inspiring to be surrounded by that kind of support. We were like “all we need now is R. Kelly …” (laughs) and then he came aboard. He was like, “I need to be on this album.” What I love about him is that he always raises the bar, so it all came together exactly like we wanted, like I wanted- for people to listen and feel like now they know me, as if they’ve met me and know this is who I am. I want people to feel that kind of connection through my music. It’s really a big departure from the big belt out ballads that you’re known for. Is it scary to try something new or exciting?

I think it’s a little of both, to be honest. It can be scary, but it’s all a part of me and I have to trust that. This is a part of me that I want you to know and it’s exciting to do something different because it means you’re growing. So, it’s a bit of both, really. There are so many new, young artists starting out, especially in singing competitions & TV shows. Is there any fresh talent that’s caught your attention?

Oh, wow. I just love music and I listen to everything. I’m always amazed by the talent I see out there. I like a lot of new comers. I like Candace Glover from American Idol. It’s hard to think of them all because I like all kinds of music, any genre. I’m all over

“DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO FOR YOU... IT’S PERFECTLY OKAY TO BE WHO YOU ARE, YOU KNOW? PEOPLE NEED TO HEAR THAT. THEY NEED TO KNOW THAT...” the place with it. Without music, I would be starved. I love good music and I don’t care what the artist looks like, I don’t care if there’s hype around it or not. I’m always looking for new stuff. I love making new playlists all the time. That’s another thing about this new album. I wanted a range of good music and I think we have that. There is a range of different sounds on it. You’ve got sucH a Huge gaY & lesbian fan base. october is rigHt arounD tHe corner. tHat’s our “coming out” montH. is tHere anYtHing You woulD saY to someone wHo’s struggling witH coming out?

That’s a good question! I got chills when you asked that! I think the first thing that’s really important to say is “Do whatever you need to do for you,” and secondly, “It’s perfectly okay to be who you are,” you know? People need to hear that. They need to know that. It should be whenever you’re ready. It doesn’t matter what anyone else has to say about it. You have to do it on your own time when you’re ready. You’re doing it for yourself.

You performeD witH marY lambert at tHe grammYs last Year. tHat was so increDible to see You guYs sHare tHe stage. it reallY sHoweD artists coming togetHer, gaY or straigHt, anD making amaZing music togetHer. tHat HaD to Have been so well receiveD. wHat DiD You Hear about it afterwarDs?

Oh, God, yes, it was so well received and we had no doubt it would be. It was such a positive and powerful message, I didn’t expect anything less. I mean, we had Mary and Macklemore and myself. I really enjoyed working with all of them and we had a really good time to be doing something that special. I just love Mary- she is hilarious! All I have to do is think about her and I smile right away, every time. She’s so fun and you know what? She sent me a beautiful pair of shoes right after that! (laughs) That’s Mary! I just love her. speaking of sHoes! i Have to ask after seeing tHe “walk it out” viDeo, wHere can i get tHose sneakers You wore? tHose are some baD a** sHoes rigHt tHere!

Ohhhh! Thank you! (laughs) You know what? Those are Guiseppe’s, just plain cream colored with a little gold chain. I thought, you know let’s street these up, let’s “Chicago” those shoes up! So we had air brushed some of my song titles on them and added a few things, but yeah, those are unique, aren’t they? oH, man, tHose are great! You wait anD see—people are going to want to buY tHose!

Well, we are thinking about patterning them. Maybe putting some out there and seeing what happens. (laughs) I’m so glad you liked them! Your album is Due out on september 23rD. Do You Have plans to tour witH it?

I don’t know if I can say this. I guess it’s an official announcement, but yes, I do want to go on tour. I can’t wait to get out there and perform for my fans and reconnect with them. It’s been too long! I’m really excited about it! we’re exciteD to be seeing You! tHank You for taking tHe time to talk to us again!

Aqua Foundation for Women Celebrates its Tenth Anniversary! what started in 2004 as an idea is now the only organization of its kind in south florida.

It was 2004 when eight local women came together to form what is now Aqua Foundation for Women (AFW), an organization dedicated to promoting the wellness and equality of lesbian, bisexual and transgender women in South Florida. Alicia Apfel, Alison Burgos, Alyse Mcgowen, Cindy Brown, Elizabeth Schwartz, Martha Sternberg, Robin Schwartz and Vivian Lamadrid created the foundation in response to the need to have an organization run by women for women. In 2004 and even a decade later, there are still

not enough women leaders in the LGBTQ community. AFW was created in part to serve as the beacon for LBT women to be more involved. “I am so very proud of all Aqua has accomplished in ten years,” says Aqua Foundation for Women Executive Director Robin Schwartz. “Since its inception, Aqua has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships and grants. We have fostered collaboration with others to increase impact including partnering with The Miami Foundation and Our Fund to raise $100,000 to support LGBTQ youth who are homeless,” Schwartz adds. In addition to providing scholarships to twelve deserving LBT women each year, Aqua Foundation links them with an accomplished female mentor for the duration of that year. Both the scholar and the mentor are given projects and checked up on periodically. “While the financial support is vital, it is the mentor relationship that is incredibly meaningful and often life changing,” says Programs Director Kat Campbell. “Aqua Foundation has given me the opportunity to succeed in college, which will, in turn, prepare me to become an activist for the LGBTQ community,” says former Aqua Foundation Scholar Mageda Abdulhad. Ten years after it was founded, Aqua shows no signs of slowing down. Later this month, Aqua will launch its very first Emerging Leaders Conference, a series of workshops developed to motivate and teach LBT women leadership skills. Additionally, it continues to host TransCon, a conference for the transgender community as well as an LGBTQ Family BBQ. On September 20th, 2014, founders, board members, volunteers, scholars and supporters will come together to celebrate ten years of leading, building and transforming the lives of South Florida women at the foundation’s annual cocktail event, Aqua Affair. Aqua Affair will be held on the rooftop of the beautiful Gale South Beach hotel from 7pm-10pm. Attendees will enjoy complimentary savory cocktails, delectable bites and a live performance by local musician, Es Oh. A stellar silent auction will feature items from Olivia Travel, JetBlue Airways and several local events, hotels, eateries and more. Tickets for Aqua Affair are $55 members / $75 non-members & $95 at door and are available at www.aquafoundation.org

>> AQUA FOUNDATION FOR WOMEN ANNOUNCES TRANSITION IN LEADERSHIP On August 18th, Aqua Foundation announced that Executive Director, Robin Schwartz will step down this coming fall. Schwartz’s history with the organization dates back to its founding days. “My goals when becoming Executive Director four years ago were to diversify and grow Aqua’s income, increase awareness of its programming, develop internal processes, improve external communications, but more importantly, assure Aqua’s work addresses the needs of LBT women in South Florida”, says Robin Schwartz.

Robin’s dedication, passion, and hard work to maintain the purpose of AFW in the LBT community has elevated the Foundation and positioned us for continued growth and positive impact for those who need it most for years to come.”

afw has achieved much under Robin’s leadership:

•High impact initiatives such as the LBT Health Directory and the LGBTQ Youth Homelessness Initiative. •Increased annual scholarship giving from $28,000 to $60,000. •More balanced fundraising. In 2009: 16% of a $285,000 budget was raised outside of Aqua Girl, AFW’s largest fundraiser. In 2013: 55% of a $485,000 budget was raised outside of Aqua Girl. •Created an Aqua Men group to welcome and encourage male involvement and support. •Improved structure in administration, programming and event management. •Higher visibility of the foundation’s work. •Stronger relationships with other LGBTQ and ally organizations leading to valuable collaborations. •Created new community events and programs such as the annual LGBTQ Family BBQ, Aqua Ally Awards and the LBT Emerging Leadership Conference. “Robin’s dedication, passion, and hard work to maintain the purpose of AFW in the LBT community has elevated the Foundation and positioned us for continued growth and positive impact for those who need it most for years to come. We wish her all the best and remain forever grateful for her work”, states Nicole Waters, AFW Chair. “We are extremely proud of where Aqua is today and know the foundation is poised to continue to flourish, grow and have a positive impact on the LGBTQ community. AFW’s board is actively searching for a new Executive Director. We look forward to this next step in AFW’s amazing journey and know that Robin will always be a part of our Aqua family, ”says Waters. We at She Magazine want to wish Robin the best and what to thank her for her leadership and dedication to our community! SHE - 19 - 09/14

I have to explain to people that by girl friend I actually mean girlfriend. Not all lesbians fit a certain idea that people have in their minds.

Out in The Night

Appropiate Behavior

Following a hugely successful Festival that saw record attendance last year, the Ft. Lauderdale Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (FLGLFF) is doubling the number of films and extending the schedule to seven days. In an effort to appeal to the vibrant lesbian community in Broward County and beyond, the FLGLFF film lineup will feature eight lesbian-filmed films, including a US premiere. The Festival takes place Friday, October 10th through Sunday, October 12th, and Thursday, October 16th through Sunday, October 19. Films will be shown at The Classic Gateway Theatre, 1820 East Sunrise Boulevard and Cinema Paradiso, 503 SE 6th Street. “The expansion of the Festival is not only a testament to the importance of Broward County as an LGBT-inclusive area, but is also reflective our goals of inclusion,” said Mark Gilbert, Interim Executive Director of FLGLFF. “This means inclusion of films and events that appeal to all members of the LGBT community and their allies, embracing the true diversity of South Florida. We

are proud to add two special events specifically for the lesbian community, on Saturday night each weekend of the festival.” While many of the films throughout the seven-day festival include lesbian characters, the following eight films are centered around various aspects of lesbian life and relationships, with six of them directed by women. Beyond Love, directed by Silvio Alfonso Nacucchi, US Premiere—Anna and Marina are in love and decide they want a baby. Stefano and his partner, Tony, are their best friends. When the ladies have an argument over who will carry the baby, the guys are caught in the middle. In Italian with English subtitles. 52 Tuesdays, directed by Sophie Hyde—16 -year-old Billie’s reluctant path to independence is accelerated when her mother reveals plans for gender transition. Filmed over the course of a year, once a week, every week – only on Tuesdays – these unique filmmaking rules bring a rare authenticity to this emotionally charged story of desire, responsibility and transformation. Appropriate Behavior, directed by Desiree Akhavan—Being part of a perfect Persian family isn’t easy. Shirin’s family doesn’t know she’s bisexual, and her ex-girlfriend, Maxine, can’t understand why she doesn’t tell them. After her brother’s betrothal to an Iranian prize catch, Shirin embarks on a private rebellion involving a series of pansexual escapades, while trying to decipher what went wrong with Maxine. In English and Farsi with English subtitles. BFFs, directed by Andrew Putschoegl—After receiving a gift of a getaway weekend at a couples’ retreat, Samantha and Kat go through the motions of repairing their relationship and in doing so discover that they might just be more than BFF’s. Funny, touching and full of comedy gold. Boy Meets Girl, directed by Eric Schaeffer— Boy Meets Girl is a sexy, romantic, coming of age comedy about three 20 year-olds in Kentucky. Robby and Ricky, a gorgeous transgender woman and childhood friend, have never dated. Lamenting the lack of bachelors, Ricky considers dating a girl. In walks Francesca, a beautiful woman waiting for her Marine fiancé to return from the war. Fear of Water, directed by Kate Lane—Inspired by actual events from the life of director Kate Lane, Fear of Water revolves around

BFFs

Alex and Eleanor, two teenage girls with parallel lives who come from different socio-economic backgrounds. One summer the girls meet and spend time, to discover friendship and a sexual awakening that cannot be denied. Life Partners, directed by Suzanne Fogel—At 29, Sasha, a lesbian, and her straight friend Paige use their codependent friendship as an excuse not to venture out into the dating world. But when Paige meets nerdy Tim, and it gets serious, the nature of their friendship begins to shift. Fearing she’s being cast aside, Sasha tries to keep their relationship the same, but does growing up also mean growing apart? Tru Love, directed by Kate Johnston and Shauna MacDonald—Tru, 37, is a serial, bed-hopping lesbian who cannot commit to a relationship - until she meets Alice, 60, a beautiful widow, who is also her friend Suzanne’s mother. Suzanne, who has a deeply conflicted relationship with her mother and a complicated past with Tru, becomes increasingly alarmed at the growing bond between Tru and her mother and tries to sabotage the romance.

Boys Meets Girl

Out in the Night, directed by Blair Dorosh-Walther—A documentary that examines the 2006 case of The New Jersey 4. In New York City, four young African-American lesbians are violently and sexually threatened by a man on the street. They defend themselves and are convicted in the courts and labeled in the media as a “Gang of Killer Lesbians.”

The planets are providing you with the means to create a more balanced life for yourself as you take inventory of what you have working for you and make the appropriate changes. This is especially true when dealing with your finances, so it’s time to make a realistic budget and stick to it. Opportunities exist for enjoying romantic-comedyadventures, as do challenges to your sense of security. Rise to the occasion and success in all things is yours.

You will benefit from a more focused, hands-on approach to improving your current financial situation. In order to maximize the energies the planets are infusing you with, you will have to roll up your sleeves and get to work. It’s time to get off the shelf and do what needs to be done in order to feel like the self you used to be. Don’t be shy about touting your own agenda, as well as your skills and services.

Relationships of all kinds are emphasized as the planets energize you to seek to socialize more and to network yourself. Improving your cash-flow, creating financial joint ventures and beneficial partnerships are your ultimate goals. It’s best not to take first impressions at face value and allow time to show you who you can trust. Don’t allow yourself to react to delays in negative, self-defeating ways. Keep the faith.

You’re being empowered to become a kinder, gentler you, with more empathy for others and more energy to make necessary self-improvements. Stand back and observe the dynamic of cause and effect and do your best not to repeat past ill-conceived actions if you didn’t like the end result. Channel your warrior energy into more productive pursuits, rather than try to overpower and force your agenda. Find ways to achieve rapport.

Stay focused on your goals, use your considerable energy to tackle all the things you’ve been putting off and take care of any ongoing medical issues. Relationships will benefit by less talking and more doing. Frustrations may make your communications more difficult than they need to be. Think how you would like to be given suggestions before making them. Remain optimistic about all the possibilities for improving the quality of your life.

Your focus is inward, as you examine the past and make decisions for the future. No plans can be finalized without both a realistic action plan and a realistic budget. Also important to your current and future wellbeing is creating more balance in your life. The Universe is insisting on you re-evaluating your priorities. Be more open to coloring outside the lines, prove that you can get what needs to be done and still have a good time.

You get to have some fun amidst your everyday routine, simply by indulging your playful, indulgence loving side and saying yes to all the opportunities coming your way. Your creative juices are flowing and your energy is high, so you can do whatever your fertile mind can conceive of. The Universe will also provide you with plenty of opportunities to put your life’s experiences and insights into practice. Be prepared to walk your talk.

You have a wonderful opportunity to change the dynamics of your interactions with the rest of the world. Enjoy being more social, practice sharing your agenda with everyone involved and ask for help. You will find it easier and much more satisfying than covert manipulation. Your best tool to help you make your dreams come true is your infamous self-control. Practice makes perfect.

You’ve finally started to de-clutter your home, your desk and your mind. Do what needs to get done in real time, instead of your time. Extra care and attention should be given to loved ones now. Expand your inner boundaries to include the significant others in your life. Your creativity keeps you up at night. Tell people about it, stand back and watch it take on a life of its own. Just be careful to stay on track.

You are coming out of hibernation, after several years of self-isolation and that gives you mixed feelings. Some days you are excited and optimistic about all the possibilities open to you. Other days, you feel too anxious to even get going. The more you get accomplished on the up days, the less over-whelmed and pessimistic, you’ll feel. Your personality attracts new friends. You can have your cake, eat it too and still have more than enough to share.

You are being empowered by the Universe to stand up to whatever challenges may confront you. Use your formidable organizational abilities to deal with the disorder in your life. You are being given the opportunity to take your own personal inventory and make whatever changes are necessary to improve your life. Do more communicating of your needs, wants, dreams and goals. Allow the Universe to provide.

You have been on a journey of self-discovery. You’ve discovered more of who you are and of what you actually need to succeed. You have seen your authentic self and are now at a turning point in your life. Your future success will be determined by what you do with the information and power that the Universe has gifted you with. Reclaim self-authority, and strive to elevate your frequency in order to access even greater insights.
