Sustainable Technologies Lead Renovator Refresher Individuals who have successfully completed an EPAapproved lead safety training course may choose to take this four-hour renovation refresher course training in lieu of the eight-hour lead initial course. Lead safety courses are listed at www.epa.gov/lead. This course trains renovation, repair and painting contractors for safe work practices in housing with lead-based paint and to comply with EPA’s Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule. This course has been approved by the EPA for purposes of certification to conduct Renovation, Repair and Painting activities pursuant to Section 402 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (15 U.S.C. 2682). EPA Accreditation: NAT-RV-R-19212-1-EN. After completing training and passing the exam, students are certified per regulations. Books and materials are included in the price. OSHA 30 Hour for Construction Standards This 30-hour Construction Standards Outreach Course provides comprehensive overview of OSHA construction industry standards (29 CFR 1926). The course introduces students to OSHA policies, procedures and standards, as well as basic construction safety and health principles. The scope and application of OSHA construction standards is also addressed. Upon successful completion of hands on activities and written exam, participants receive an OSHA Construction Standards 30-hour card. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Jan. 27, 4 days.
