DISTANCE LEARNING (ONLINE CLASSES)

SFCC OFFERS A VARIETY OF ONLINE CLASSES • Web-blended courses (designated “B” sections) include a predetermined number of face-to-face meetings in addition to required online coursework. • Web-supported courses (designated “C” sections) meet face-to-face at regularly scheduled times, with additional information about the class available on the Internet. • 100% Web-based classes (designated “D” sections) allow you to complete all of your coursework online without meeting face-to-face. An orientation meeting may be required.

Online classes cover the same material as their on-campus equivalents, but your work is done using a computer and Canvas, SFCC’s online course management system. Online classes require discipline, a self-directed attitude and above-average time management skills. Online classes may take more time than traditional classes.
