There is a small concert on the historic organ every Monday 17:00 and Friday 18:00, centuries old music mixed with popular pieces by Liszt, Bach and Mozart. Maybe you are just coming from the newly opened Pálinka Museum or the Palatinus Bath, we will glad-
ly inform you about both on our website and of course you can discover much more there. Do you love concerts? We have something for you! Every Monday and Thursday the legendary summer concerts take place in the Vajdahunyad Castle, and Wednesday should then be reserved for musical performances in the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden. Are you tired of walking in the city? Visit the Magnolia Day Spa, where you will be relieved of stress and revived with new energy. By the way, on the 7th of July the Frida Kahlo exhibition in the Hungarian National Gallery will open its doors, a special treat for art lovers. Top 4 sights in Budapest
Chain Bridge - Actually the name is Széchenyi Chain Bridge, named after the reformer Count István Széchenyi, who gave the idea for it. The 375-meter-long chains span the Danube and connect Buda and Pest, the two opposing parts of the city. Many myths and legends surround this extraordinary building, which is lighted on special occasions in different colors and thus the bridge sets a sign for a modern Hungary that shines widely visible.

Kettenbrücke - Eigentlich heißt sie mit vollem Namen Széchenyi-Kettenbrücke, benannt nach dem Reformers Graf István Széchenyi, der die Idee dazu gab. Die 375 Meter langen Ketten überspannen die Donau und verbinden Buda und Pest, die beiden gegenüberliegenden Teile der Stadt. Heroes’ Square - At the end of Andrássy út you will find one of the most famous squares in Hungary, scene of the eventful history of the 20th century. The statues to be seen today are only partially the original ones. Already during the revolution 1918-19 the monument of Emperor Franz Josef I. was destroyed for the first time, after 1945 all statues of the KuK monarchy were replaced by Hungarian freedom fighters. In this square, the Hungarians demonstrated against the Habsburgs and the communist government, it is a living symbol of the rebellion against foreign rule. Heldenplatz - Am Ende der Andrássy út finden Sie einen der berühmtesten Plätze Ungarns, Schauplatz der bewegten Geschichte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Die heute zu sehenden Figuren sind nur noch teilweise die original aufgestellten Figuren. Schon während der Revolution 1918-19 wurde das Denkmal Kaiser Franz Josef I. erstmals zerstört, nach 1945 wurden dann alle Abbilder der KuK-Monarchie durch ungarische Freiheitskämpfer ersetzt. Auf diesem Platz demonstrierten die Ungarn gegen die Habsburger und die kommunistische Regierung, er ist ein lebendes Symbol der Auflehnung gegen Fremdherrschaft.
Parliament - In 1873, the cities Buda, Pest and Óbuda became Budapest. Of course, for such an event, a new parliament building was needed to represent this amalgamation. In 1885, the foundation stone was laid, and around 1000 workers were obliged to build this Neo-Gothic building. Although it was opened in 1896 for the millennium celebrations, but only in 1904, the construction was completed. Since then, the parliament building is one of the landmarks of Budapest. By the way, the parliament building has the same height as the St. Stephens Basilica. Parlament - 1873 wurden die Städte Buda, Pest und Óbuda zu Budapest. Natürlich brauchte man für ein solches Ereignis ein neues Parlamentsgebäude, das diese Zusammenlegung repräsentierte. 1885 wurde der Grundstein gelegt, ca. 1000 Arbeiter wurden verpflichtet um dieses Gebäude im Stil der Neugotik zu errichten. Zwar wurde es 1896 zu den Millenniumsfeierlichkeiten eröffnet, aber erst 1904 wurden die Bauarbeiten abgeschlossen. Seitdem ist das Parlamentsgebäude eines der Wahrzeichen von Budapest. Übrigens hat das Parlamentsgebäude genau die gleiche Höhe wie die St. Stefans Basilika! 5
