36-hole stroke play format. The top (5) five finishers in the Southern California Assistant PGA Championship will advance to the PGA Assistant National Championship. This includes the Champion.

STARTING TIMES

Monday, August 7th - Round 1 will begin at 7:30 A.M. off the first & tenth tees. Round 2 will take place, on the same day, immediatly following the first round. Start times subject to change.

PUTTVIEW YARDAGE BOOKS

SCPGA Partner, Puttview, is offering complimentary yardage books to participants for the tournament. If you are playing a practice round, they will be available in the pro shop, or they will be available at check-in.

The top-5 finishers will advance to the 47th National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship on November 16-19, 2023, at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida. There will be 4 alternates.

2022 CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP

BLAKE SCHMITT ETCHES NAME IN HISTORY

RANCHO SANTA FE, CA - Blake Schmitt of Ironwood Country Club goes low to win the 2022 National Car Rental Southern California Assistant PGA Professional Champion after shooting a four-under par total 136.

Forty-seven Assistant Professionals congregated at The Crosby Club in Rancho Santa Fe, hoping to earn a spot into the 46th PGA Assistant National Championship. Schmitt won the championship by two strokes to take home the trophy and a spot into the 46th PGA Assistant National Championship in November. “It feels great to come away with a win here. I tried to take it one swing at a time and focus on being in the present,” said Schmitt.

The following four players will be joining Schmitt at the 46th PGA Assistant National Championship November 17-20, 2022, at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
