Greetings from Samasati Retreat and Rainforest Sanctuary. Thank you for contacting us! Samasati oers the perfect location for groups and we welcome your retreat. At Samasati your group can unwind, relax and discover the natural wonders of the rainforest, taste organic and exotic cuisine, develop healthier practices for living, or connect with like-minded travelers. Located on the expansive Caribbean Ocean in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, Samasati sits amidst 250 acres of lush rainforest jungle, gardens and mountains. Below our mountain, we are surrounded by pristine beaches, which are far removed from overcrowded tourist attractions and distracting influences. Our accommodations are Casitas and the Guest House (along with several beautiful custom homes that can be rented). Each are carefully placed within the rainforest to provide the best views. More About Us Samasati is a wellness retreat, sustainable eco-lodge and adventure getaway destination. ...for Leaders, Teachers, and Group Sta * One organizing member of the group will have complementary shared accommodation and meals when there are at least 8 guest reservations. * A second organizing member will have complementary shared accommodation when there are between 12-16 guest reservations. Meals are included for the second organizing member when there are more than 16 guest reservations. * A third organizing member will have complementary shared accommodation when there are between 20-25 guest reservations. Meals are included for the third organizing member when there are more than 25 guest reservations. * A fourth organizing member will have complementary shared accommodation and meals when there are 30 or more guest reservations.
Deposit Details
* 10% of balance due upon reservation * 25% of balance due 3 months prior to check-in date * 25% of balance due 30 days prior to check-in date * 40% of balance due upon arrival Deposits are not refundable. However, a deposit can be used for future reservations within one year of date of cancellation. Please let us know when you plan to book a group, and we will send you availability.

Need to Know... * Our reservations department provides assistance with coordinating airport transfers, tours, ground transportation and rooming assignments. Guests arriving to Costa Rica from outside of the country will fly into Juan Santamaria Airport (SJO) in San Jose. The airport is a 4-5 hour scenic drive from Samasati OR 90 minutes of travel via domestic flight to Limon airport and shuttle ride to Samasati. Prices of airport transfers range from $40 per person each way for private group shuttles to $100 each way for the short domestic flights.
