RVDA Partners with RV Finance Professionals to Help Dealers R

VDA is partnering with several RV finance professionals to help dealers navigate the current environment for obtaining wholesale and retail financing. RVDA staff has free information on RV financing available in the RVDA Lenders Toolbox and www.rvda.org. RVDA staff is also available to provide information on financing issues through the dealer services hotline. For dealers who need additional help, there are now a variety of options available, for a fee, through the RV Learning Center and the RV Assistance Corp. (RVAC).

One-On-One Consulting Services These additional programs, through RVAC can provide, for a fee, one-onone consulting for dealers from experienced bankers who know how to deal with bankers and finance firms.

William “Bill” Thompson of Cardinal Points Network, LLC (formerly of KeyBank) Bill Thompson will provide consultation for RV dealers within this framework: • Assessing viability of obtaining commercial inventory financing through introspective analysis of a dealership’s financial position with ownership and management. • Compiling and building an effective loan application presentation that not only leads a lender through a dealership’s financial position, plans, and aspirations, but provides industry and market perspective. Based on a dealership’s wants and needs, this can include help producing the loan packet to being an integral part of the presentation to the lenders themselves. • Wrapping a business plan around the reality of the lending environment today. • The ultimate goal is to secure viable inventory lending for the dealership. Price: $150 for each billable hour and $1,200 per day on site.
