The upset of the day helped the Anchormen continue to roll as Joe Slane knocked off nationally ranked Vincent Fava who was undefeated 13-0. Kyle Lake wrestled tough at 157 losing a close one to returning all-American Ajagbe 5-3. After three huge wins by Conrad, Sotelo, and Humphries at 165,174, and 184 the match was clinched so Del Val rested allAmerican Karns at 197. In a battle of nationally ranked heavyweights.
