Recruiting - Exercise SCOTTISH SOLDIER

EXERCISE ‘SCOTTISH SOLDIER’ Looking for a new challenge? Come and spend five days having a look at life in the Royal Regiment of Scotland. See Army demonstrations up close, test out your fitness and get involved in team challenges. You can also take part in an overnight tactical offensive exercise – the closest thing to real life in the Army. Visits to the Army selection facilities in Edinburgh, a serving SCOTS Battalion and the Infantry Training Centre at Catterick in Yorkshire will show you what army life is all about. You’ll also hear about the benefits of becoming a member of the Royal Regiment of Scotland – the pay, free health & dental care, subsidised housing and, most importantly, the wealth of career opportunities available once you are initially trained. A serving soldier will explain what you need to become a member of the ‘Real Tartan Army’. The end result? You take your place in one of the best infantry battalions in the British Army.
