He spent his first season on the Adrian College football coaching staff working with the tight ends and fullbacks. Ehret came to Adrian after a two-year stint at Defiance College. Ehret was the offensive line coach, strength coach and co-offensive coordinator during his time with the Yellow Jackets. Ehret’s impact with the Yellow Jackets was felt immediately in his first season on the sidelines, as his front line ranked first in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) by allowing only six sacks and paving the way to 218.8 rushing yards per game over eight league contests. The result was Defiance averaging 25.2 points per game in conference action, for its highest scoring average since the HCAC championship season of 2001. Ehret spent two seasons handling the offensive line at Manchester College prior to Defiance. During his tenure with the Spartans, Ehret saw the MC ground game finish among the top two rushing attacks in the HCAC during each season, while placing four offensive linemen on the All-HCAC squad. Along with his seven years of collegiate coaching, which include stops at Taylor University and Valparaiso University, Ehret spent four years as a member of the offensive line during his playing career at Malone University. Ehret earned a degree in sport management from Malone College in 2005 and completed his master’s degree in sports administration from Valparaiso.

Jordan Odaffer 1st Season Inside Linebackers jodaffer@adrian.edu 517-265-5161 x. 5004 Florida A&M (2008)

Jordan Odaffer joins the Adrian College football coaching staff and will coach the inside linebackers while assisting Coach Ehret with the Bulldogs Special Teams Unit. Odaffer comes to Adrian after a two-year stint at LaBelle High School (LaBelle, Fla.). Odaffer held the titles of: Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator, Linebackers Coach, Wide Receivers Coach, and Defensive Backs Coach while at LaBelle. Odaffer has enjoyed success at each of his coaching stops as his LaBelle Cowboys improved their record each season under him while also molding a porous defense ranked 44th out of 47 in their class in points allowed prior to Odaffer’s arrival into a formidable defense that ranked 12th and 10th in points allowed during his two seasons. While at West Gadsden High School as a Defensive Coordinator, West Gadsden won their only District title as Odaffer’s defense surrendered 12 points per game (6th in the state) including a four-game streak where they allowed zero touchdowns. Odaffer’s defense also scored 10 touchdowns that season to account for 60 points of their own. While working at Rickards High School as a Special Teams Coordinator, Odaffer’s special teams unit was a constant threat as they converted fake punts, scored two-point conversions, returned kickoffs for touchdowns, and blocked kicks that were returned for touchdowns. Along with his six years of high school coaching experience, Odaffer played college football at Southwest Baptist University, Los Angeles Pierce College and Florida A&M. Odaffer earned his Bachelor’s degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in History Education in December 2008.
