A Royal Experience: By NarBeh MiNassiaN As we all gathered from the recent media frenzy and attention surrounding the news that King-to-be Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are expecting a baby next year, the Royal Family are still considered an important part of Britain. The days of Henry VIII and Edward II are safely - and thankfully - in the textbooks, but while they have no technical power they are still regarded to be an important symbol and ambassadors to the United Kingdom. The fact that tourists in London gather in crowds outside Buckingham Palace to this day is testament to their popularity, and at The Rubens Hotel you have the chance to be on the same part of the same road as London’s most famous residence, as it faces the entrance of the Queen’s Royal Mews.
