KENBROOK BIBLECAMP

Ephesians 2:4-5

For over 60 years, God has used Kenbrook to change lives. The camp and retreat programs delivered by caring staff in a unique setting create an experience that impacts people for eternity. Thousands of people in Eastern Pennsylvania and around the world have been transformed at Kenbrook. In this program catalog you will find information for our programs in 2013, including summer camp. I invite you to explore how you might be a part of what God is doing at Kenbrook in 2013! Jon Malvig Executive Director

Why choose Kenbrook ? A Safe Environment: At Kenbrook it is more than just your child’s physical safety that is protected. Every child is shown love, compassion and care each and every day. We want your child to feel like Kenbrook is their home away from home. Quality Staff: At Kenbrook, resources are invested all year long to recruit and train the best possible young adults who are committed to serving God by serving your camper for the summer. Spiritual Impact: A Kenbrook experience has always been about reaching young people with the life changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why the camp was founded and it exists today. Whether it is through a relevant Bible study, TAG time (Time Alone with God) , a God-filled worship time, a late night conversation with a counselor or a quiet hike through the woods, God truly meets you at Kenbrook. A Great Location: Kenbrook is located in the rolling hills along the Little Swatara Creek just minutes north of Lebanon, PA. It is a peaceful retreat that is only a short drive from several large cities in eastern PA. A Unique Experience: Where else can you ride a zip line, swim in a pool, sleep in a cabin with friends (new and old), learn a ton about God, sing crazy songs, eat delicious food, catch a fish, play games with lots of other kids, make lifelong friendships, learn teamwork, take a hike in the woods, play gaga ball and roast marshmallows—all in ONE week?!? And without video games, cell phones and computers!

They will receive practical direction and mentoring from our dedicated staff. For more information and to apply go to www.kenbrook.org and click on the C.I.T. link on the “Ministry Team” page.

Krew (ages 14-16) The Krew program is a two week discipleship program where teens have the opportunity to choose to serve behind the scenes doing either food preparation and serving in the kitchen or working on various maintenance projects throughout the Kenbrook grounds. This program focuses on the service aspect of leadership and teaches teens that service was not only at the heart of Jesus’ ministry while on earth, but also a very essential part of our life calling today. Registration and financial tips for 2013 Why Three Prices?

Historically camp fees have not covered what it costs to run summer camp at Kenbrook, remaining expenses are covered by donations or retreat rental fees, leaving a significant strain on our annual budget. In order to avoiding raising these camp fees to a level that would prevent campers from attending, we have instituted a new voluntary and confidential tiered pricing structure for 2013. You pick the price that works for you. The price you choose has no effect on your campers experience. However, choosing a higher tier gives you the opportunity to help cover the costs of your child’s camp experience and helps ease the strain on our annual budget, allowing for better investment in building for the future. Tier A- Relies heavily on donations and retreat rental fees to cover the remaining expenses. Tier B- Better accounts for expenses although still does not cover expenses completely. Tier C- Better reflects the true cost of camp, which includes insurance, program staff salaries, administration, and facility updates.
