Camp Victory Lake located in Arcadian upstate New York, offers a well-structured, balanced program in a beautiful rural setting. People from across the nation and from many foreign countries come to Camp Victory Lake for many good reasons. Among over night camps and day camps, its offerings make this camp stand out. It offers guidance counseling for the special needs of every camper. Youth between the ages of 8 and 15 explore their interests and talent at Camp Victory Lake. It is ideal for children who seek a deep personal relationship with Jesus and who love the outdoors, the arts, swimming,canoeing, sewing and many other worthwhile activities. At Camp Victory Lake, it is our express goal for every camper to: develop self-confidence, unlock hidden talents and interests, nurture self-respect, and teach and exhibit positive life values. The key focus in the program at Camp Victory Lake is the development of the whole camper through concentrating on the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of each person. Our camp staff consists of experienced youth leaders, counselors and experts in swimming, crafts and arts. The spirited programs are especially suited for boys and girls who have never been to camp before as well as those who have been with us over the years. With proficient teaching in all activities, they can make the most of Camp Victory Lake’s superb academics, water front, creative arts and pioneering programs. All this is aimed at building confidence in our youth and sending them back to their communities, healthy, invigorated, and ready to make a difference. Camp Victory Lake presents an extraordinary program of special events geared to all youth in general, and especially the inner city youth. Camp Victory Lake is a nonprofit Christian camp located in the Hudson Valley region of New York state. It is approximately 90 miles north of New York City on almost 100 acres of tree dotted land. It is owned and operated by the Northeastern Conference of Seventh day Adventist for the express purpose of providing a safe, inhibited atmosphere in which young people of all races, religions and faiths can enjoy wholesome recreation, fun and fellowship.
CAMP FEES
A registration fee of $115.00 is required with each application. The fee is non refundable should the camper not attend camp. The total fee is to be paid in full before the camper is accepted in camp. Payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, money order, or certified check. No personal checks will be accepted. Camp Victory Lake strongly recommends the full session to all intended campers, since it is our objective to help our campers to develop and foster lasting relationships with each other.
MEALS
Meals served to campers are all vegetarian meals. The meals are well balanced and are sumptuously prepared for the developing child. Controlling the consumption of sweets is our preference, therefore we suggest that families minimize the amount of sweets sent to the campers.

parent visitation
Parents and guardians are welcomed to visit camp during the designated visiting days: Sundays between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. All visitors to Camp Victory Lake should register at the Camp Office upon arrival. Campers will not be allowed to leave the camp grounds with any visitor without written permission from the camper’s parent or guardian.
transportation
Parents must make travel arrangements for their campers to and from Camp Victory Lake. Camp Victory Lake will provide, for a fee, transportation service to and from Northeastern Conference Headquarters located at 115-50 Merrick Blvd., Jamaica, New York 11434. The drop off dates are July 8 and July 22. The pick up dates are July 22 and August 5. Transportation arrangements must be made at least 7 days prior to the pick up or drop off dates. The fees are $50 round trip and $30 one-way. The fees are for campers and not parents or guardians. Camp Victory Lake does not provide transportation service for parents or guardians to and from camp.

Since it is the goal of Camp Victory Lake to provide an atmosphere of independence and personal development for each camper, we strongly discourage incoming and outgoing camper calls. This does not apply to emergency cases. If the staff feels that receiving a call from home will enhance the camping experience of a camper, that avenue will be used without hesitation. We highly recommend that parents write to their campers instead of calling on the telephone. For business calls to Camp Victory Lake, please call (845)229-8851. For the Nurses Station call (845)2299408. Cellular telephones should not be in the possession of any camper.

health & safety
The health and safety of the campers is of paramount concern to each staff member. Each camper must have a completed physical examination within one month prior to arriving at camp. A copy of this examination must be sent to the camp prior to or brought to the camp when the camper arrives. No camper will be accepted without a current physical. The camper must be up to date with his or her immunizations, this includes a Tetanus Booster shot. For safety reasons, a recent photograph of your child should accompany his or her application.
recreational field trips
As a part of the summer camp program, the camper will attend several recreational field trips throughout the Hudson Valley areas. The fees to these trips are a part of the cost for attending camp. un camp, valorisant le ministère spirituel et les valeurs chrétiennes, que Dieu a béni pendant 40 ans. Camp Victory Lake a accueilli de milliers de jeunes qui ont fortifiés leur foi en Dieu et qui, à leur retour, ont supporté l’église et leur communauté. En 2012, notre thème est « Let Him Shine » ! Ce thème prend ses origines de plusieurs propositions de nos campeurs et des membres du staff. Il déclare que Dieu brillera à travers nos cœurs et par conséquent, nous serons des témoins a tous ceux qui nous aborderont. L’an passé, notre thème fut « Standing Tall for Christ » ; cette année, nous Lui permettons de briller et nous verrons la façon dont Il illuminera nos vies et nous apportera à Sa merveilleuse lumière. Nous sommes enchantés de vous informer que Camp Victory Lake a été reconnu par l’Association de Camps Américains. C’est une reconnaissance de la qualité de notre gestion de plan de travail, l’administration, et les ressources que nous procurons chaque année. Dieu nous a permis de maintenir un programme qui a pour but de nourrir la jeunesse spirituellement et mentalement. y amigos! Estamos muy emocionados al presentarte un campamento que ha sido bendecido por más de 40 años de ministerio y valores cristianos! El Campamento Victory Lake (Lago de Victoria) ha sido apoyado por miles de personas que han crecido fuerte en la Fé con Dios y han regresado para apoyar la iglesia y la comunidad! En 2012 nuestro tema será “ Déjalo Brillar!! Este tema ha derivado de varias sugerencias de nuestros acampantes y personal que declaran que Dios debe brillar en nuestros corazones y testificar en aquellos con quienes estamos en contacto. El año pasado el tema fué “ De pie por Cristo”, este año le “Dejamos Brillar” y veremos cómo Dios brilla en nuestras vidas y nos trae a su luz admirable!. Estamos gozosos de anunciarles que nuestro campamento ha sido acreditado por la Asociación Nacional de Campamentos por los próximos tres años! Este es un reconocimiento a la calidad de nuestro programa, administración, y recursos que proveemos cada año. Dios nos ha bendecido para mantener lo que otros han empezado al proveer un programa para los jóvenes para que crezcan espiritual, fisico, mentalmente. . friends! We are so excited to present to you a camp that has been blessed with years of ministry and Christian values for the last 40 plus years! Camp Victory Lake has hosted thousands of young people that have grown stronger in their faith with God and have turned back to support the church and their community! In 2012 our theme is “Let Him Shine”! This theme was derived out of many submissions by our campers and staff to declare that God will shine from our hearts and be a witness to all who we come in contact with. Last year our theme was Standing Tall for Christ, this year we Let Him Shine and see how God brightens up our lives and brings us into His marvelous light. We are elated to inform you that Camp Victory Lake has been accredited by the American Camp Association for the next three years! This is recognition for the quality of our programming, administration, and resources that we provide each year. God has blessed us to maintain what others have begun in providing a program for youth to grow spiritually, physically, and mentally.
