T
HE Lord is saying that which He will do in your life will cause the ears of men to tingle in Jesus name. He says He will make someone here laugh and everyone that hears you laugh will laugh with you in Jesus name. Proverbs 102:13 says 'Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion, for the time to favour her, yea the set time is come”. The theme of the month of January is Glorious reforms as spoken by God, through His Prophet and the theme of the year 2014 is New Beginnings. The Bible says in Psalm 62:11 once has God spoken and twice have we heard that all power belongs to God. From this scripture we know that God does not have to repeat Himself, but if He does it is because He loves us too much and he wants to emphasise what He has spoken. Glorious reforms and New Beginnings are alike. The word reform means to improve by alteration, correction of error or removal of defects, put into a better form or condition or to restore to a former good state, When we say Glorious reforms, then it means God Himself will be the one to alter, correct, remove the defects or put into better form or condition that which needs reforming in every area of our lives and in His church in Jesus name. Malachi 3:6 'For I am The Lord, I change not, the Bible says in Hebrews 13:8 He remaineth the same yesterday, today and forever, He is the only one that has the power to reform us in every area of our lives that we need His glorious touch. Our challenges cannot change God but He is the only one that can turn our challenges to testimonies. He is saying that in this month of January and beyond, He will visit us for good in Jesus name. Brethren if you believe it then let your Amen sound like thunder. In the Book of Luke 1:5-20 the Bible introduced a man to us, Zaharias a Priest of the Living God, he and his RCCG EFA LEEDS HOUSE FELLOWSHIP CENTRES wife were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of The Lord Ls1, LS2, LS7 & LS8 blameless. LORIOUS can be defined as something that has or is worthy of bringing fame or admiration; or something that has a striking beauty or splendour. While reform is to make changes in something (especially an institution or practise) in order to improve it. Whenever an improvement leads to fame and admiration; beauty or splendour, it could be said to be a glorious reform. King Asa is one of the kings in Judah that God used to bring glorious reforms to the land. In his time, he took away altars of strange gods, removed their high places, cut down their grooves and destroy their images. He also commanded the people to seek God and obeyed His laws. During his time the land of Judah was quiet, he built fenced cities and prospered. He was also able to raise about 500,000 well equipped Army. The Lord gave him rest for the reformations to take place (2 Chro. 14:1-8). Whatever our God does is glorious (I Tim. 4:4). However God can choose to refine His work whenever He wants (Isaiah 65:17). In this month of January and beyond, God wants us to embark on what will be glorious reforms and He will effect His own. He wants us to do away with anything that is competing with His worship and as such focus more on Him. He wants us to seek and obey Him the more. As we do these, He promised that He will help us to build ‘fortified cities’, He will make us to experience quietness and enjoy rest. He will also prosper us greatly. THE RCCG (EVERLASTING FATHER’S ASSEMBLY) 2014 PROPHECY. THEME: OUR YEAR OF NEW BEGINNING Exodus 12:2
s 2013 was running to an end. I began to ask God what He will do for us in the year 2014. Few weeks ago, God impressed it on my heart that He is making us to enter into an era of New Beginnings. He said, He will fulfil our time in the year 2014. Our time will be 8 years in 2014, 8 been a number of new beginning. God said, ‘Though I have taken you to a time of completion at 7 years, yet I’m ready to start work on you afresh’. In Gen. 1:1-4, prior to the beginning, God made the heaven and the earth. God reside in heaven, but the earth was without form and void, and also dark. At a later stage, God decided He wanted to make a new beginning with the earth and He began with light and other things, until He could confirm that the earth was equally good. God recently told me that what He intends for Everlasting Father’s Assembly to become is not yet revealed.’I am about to begin anew with you’, He said. ‘I will take you back to Genesis i.e Creation and re-make you’. He said, He will make us into a more impressive form, shape and brilliance.’I will also introduce a new kind of light into you to make your difference from before very obvious’. He said. Do you know that Manufacturers remake their products mainly for two reasons? (1) They identified a fault or error in the system after usage. (2) They just desire to make something nicer; more current or a newer model. God said regarding Everlasting Father’s Assembly, He will repair every faults within our system in 2014. He has also desire to make us into something more glorious. When we started in 2006, we were like something without form and shape, it looks like few people joking. Thank God for then and glory be to God for now. Today, God says, ‘I will start you again in your 8th year’. He said, He will take us back to the things we enjoyed in our first start and then make us to experience even more. God then gave me our anchor scripture as: Exodus 12:2 -This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. The daylight of 1st January shall be the beginning of months and years to us; it shall also be the first month of 2014. Everything that has happened to us before now are just occurrences before our real beginning. He said your enjoyment up till now is just like a test drive. You will now begin to move about confidently and comfortably. Hear again the promise from God to us for 2014. Revelation 21:5-6 -And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. God Says that someone can expect a prominent divine visitation that will radically alter the cause of his or her life. 3. Daddy says that someone will have the first taste of real dominion. 4. The Lord said that there will be quite a few narrow escapes from tragedies. NIGERIA 1. The Lord says that the future of Nigeria will be determined this year, not in 2015 as some think. 2015 will be mere formalities. 2. The equations at the beginning of this year will be different from the equations at the end of the year, therefore don’t jump into conclusions. INTERNATIONAL 1. There will be more major breakthroughs in Medicine and Science. 2. God wants us to pray against noisy highly destructive storms. 3. God asked us to pray against monumental fire outbreaks. Ingredients for Great Strides By Pastor Samuel OBAFAIYE
S
TRIDES can be defined as taking long steps; making great progress; making great advancements; attaining a steady level of competence; or maintaining a steady effective pace. When strides is said to be great, it means that an alarming progress is made; a shocking advancement is achieved or an amazing pace has been set. All these will come your way in Jesus name. In conventional warfare, there are four possible positions to adopt: advance; attack; defence and withdrawal. It seems to me that the best and desirable among the four is advance. This is because the other three positions can induce certain degree of loss; but loss is eradicated in advancing. Some enemies may just hear that you are coming and flee. May that be your portion in Jesus name. Within the military, there are tactics and field crafts that soldiers must learn in order to advance safely in battle terrain. For any army to have great strides, they must teach and master these tactics. We Christians are soldiers of Christ and we are in constant battle with spiritual powers (Ephesians 6:10-18). At other times, the devil may use mankind to persecute and trouble us because of our professed faith, so that we might fail or fall. We therefore need biblical tactics and field crafts to advance in the terrain of life; mount offensive attacks on the enemy; so as to not put ourselves in the difficult position of defence; and never face the humiliation of withdrawal. Nehemiah was a good example of a soldier of God worthy of emulation as he achieved great strides. He was able to build a huge wall round the city of Jerusalem as well as erecting gates at the entrances in barely 52 days! With all the technologies of modern times, it will still be a difficult task to do so in our world of today, talk less of the circumstances and prevailing conditions in which the task was done. About 600 years before Christ, Jerusalem was destroyed and the people taken as captives to WEEKLY ACTIVITIES Babylon. After 50 years in exile, some people SUNDAYS retuned to rebuild the temple.
