You Will Not Faint In Life W

By Pastor Samuel OBAFAIYE

HAT does faint means? Feeling weak and dizzy and close to losing consciousness. To lose consciousness for a short time because of temporarily insufficient supply of oxygen to the brain. It is not good for one to faint. It can be humiliating and psychologically disturbing. Long after the fainting spell, one might be occupied with the thought that something is wrong with them physiologically, which may not be. Fainting can also be humiliating because onlookers might perceive one to be a weakling, incapable and inferior to them, again that may not necessarily be the case. Some might even take advantage of the victim by stealing their belongings. While natural fainting is bad, supernatural fainting is worse. In natural fainting, one could just dust themselves up and get back on their feet, in supernatural one however, getting back on one's feet may not be that easy. You may not even know the extent of what might have been subtracted from you. We all face issues of life from different fronts: spiritual, emotional, financial, health, social, marital, academic, generational, work related, etc. While these issues are many and some of them induced by supernatural forces, our natural strength is limited. It is in the attempt to grapple with all these issues that people's strength disappoint them and they faint, and not just unbelievers, but believers also. The scripture however tells us in Proverb 24:10 that: If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. Faint here means become feeble, lack stamina, falter, lose heart... The hard news is that, for everyone, there will be a day called the 'day of adversity', the good news however is that the bible verse started with the word "If" and not "When". Which suggest to me that you do not have to faint on such a day. May God increase your strength in Jesus name. You will not be feeble in the day you face adversity. You will not lack stamina You will not falter You will not lose heart in Jesus name. Scriptural examples of people who experienced fainting In I Sam 30:1-31, the bible tells us how David's 600 men came back to Ziklag and found out that their wives, children and belongings had been taken away by the Amalekite raiders and their tents set on fire. At the instruction of God, David and his 600 men went after the Amalekites, until they got to the Brook of Besor where 200 of them became faint and unable to proceed further on the journey. The 400 were able to continue on the offensive, defeated the Amalekites and brought back everything that was taken. It took the good heart of David for the fainting 200 men to be given part of the spoils recovered from the Amalekites. - One will normally require more energy to wade through a water body than walking on the sand. It may be that you are walking through 'a river' in the journey of your life. You require more energy now more than ever before, may God supply that strength to you right now. - You have lost something crucial because of lack of stamina, may God grant you total recovery in Jesus name. - It's interesting to know that the same 200 men who could not go over the brook, later had strength to jubilate when their wives and children came back. God will grant you a surprise gift that will take the fainting spell you have been experiencing away. Opening part of a sermon delivered by Pastor Samuel on February 26th, 2017. RCCG EFA LEEDS MARCH 2017 THEME - PROGRESSIVE TRENDS ROGRESSIVE can be defined as when something is happening or developing gradually or in stages. It can also be when something is moving forward or onwards; or when something is making progress towards a better condition. Trend in the context of this write-up will be taken to mean a general tendency or course of events or a general direction in which something is developing or changing. Progressive trend could therefore be seen as when the general direction in which something is happening or developing is onwards, forward or towards a better condition. In Gen. 26:1-14, the bible tells us that a famine happened in the Canaan region during the time of Isaac, so that Isaac moved to Gerar - the land of the Philistines. He might have contemplated emigrating into Egypt as his father Abraham did. God however instructed him to abide in the Palestine region (Gerar), that He would bless him if he stayed. Isaac obeyed God, and remained in Gerar. Though the famine was severe, he however planted crops in that year and God granted him supernatural harvest. God made Isaac to enjoy progressive trends in Gerar so that he waxed great; he went forward; he grew continually; until he became very great. He became established and flourished to the extent that the whole nation of Philistine became envious of him. In this third month of the year, God will aid our continuous marching forward; He will make us to wax great; make us to move forward until we will become very great in this year. May we all enjoy this progressive trends in Jesus name. Amen!

RCCG EFA LEEDS 2017 PROPHECY - OUR YEAR OF UNIMAGINABLE PROGRESS

STANDING ON THE PROMISE OF CHRIST Standing on the promises of Christ my King, Through eternal ages let His praises ring, Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing, Standing on the promises of God. Standing, standing, Standing on the promises of God my Saviour; Standing, standing, I’m standing on the promises of God. Standing on the promises that cannot fail, When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail, By the living Word of God I shall prevail, Standing on the promises of God. Standing on the promises I now can see Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me; Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free, Standing on the promises of God. Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord, Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord, Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword, Standing on the promises of God. Standing on the promises I cannot fall, Listening every moment to the Spirit’s call Resting in my Saviour as my all in all, Standing on the promises of God.

NIMAGINABLE can be defined as something that is difficult or impossible to imagine or comprehend. Something that is unthinkable, inconceivable, unbelievable, unlikely, impossible, breath-taking, mind blowing or unthought-of of. Progress on the other hand is a movement towards a goal or to a further or higher stage. It is a forward or onward movement towards an intended destination. Generally in life, we all progress from one level to another once we commit time and effort to a course or cause. However, there are certain progresses that are just extraordinary, so that no one can think they will ever happen. For example, in the Army, after graduating from the Royal Military Academy, the cadets are commissioned as Second Lieutenant. Those that combine dedication and intelligent, with a bit of luck will be promoted about every 3 years. So that after about 10 years in service, they would have progressed to the rank of Major. It will be unimaginable for a cadet after graduation to become a Major in less than 5 years. The bible talks about Daniel, how he was promoted in an unimaginable way. He was a slave in exile who was privileged to enjoy great opportunity. He was chosen among the exiled young Jews who were to learn the Babylonian culture in order to minister as officers in the palace. However, God distinguished Daniel greatly, not only was he the best in secular knowledge, but also in supernatural things (Dan. 2:47). Daniel was promoted very rapidly in Babylon to a shocking level (Dan. 2:48). He was made the ruler over the entire Provinces of Babylon, and placed above all the advisers of the king. At his recommendation, officers were elevated and demoted (Dan. 2:49). It was an unthinkable progress.
