“
WHAT can we do for the Lord in 2014?” Brethren, there is so much to do. Hear the words of our Lord in John 4:34-35: "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work."Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest '? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.” Let’s quickly look at OUR WORLD TODAY. It is a reminder of the historical times of lawlessness as in Judges 21:25, 17:6. In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes. We live in a valueless society, as outlined in Romans 1: 20 – 32. “… Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” (vs.32) Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12). For those who are steadfast, there is a different warning in Matthew 10:22: “You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. ” Some of us are busy going through the motions of religion and have no understanding that this warning is being played out before our very eyes. CHALLENGE The challenge for Everlasting Father’s Assembly, this 12th day of January 2014 is to impact our world. From our Mission Statement as a church, the very first promise is: “To have a positive impact on the lives of the people of Leeds and its environs” James asks a pertinent question: Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their RCCG EFA LEEDS HOUSE FELLOWSHIP CENTRES good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of Ls1, LS2, LS7 & LS8 all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full Flat 147, 20-20 House, of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. We are the bible that unbelievers read. RCCG EFA LEEDS JANUARY THEME - GLORIOUS REFORMS

LORIOUS can be defined as something that has or is worthy of bringing fame or admiration; or something that has a striking beauty or splendour. While reform is to make changes in something (especially an institution or practise) in order to improve it. Whenever an improvement leads to fame and admiration; beauty or splendour, it could be said to be a glorious reform. King Asa is one of the kings in Judah that God used to bring glorious reforms to the land. In his time, he took away altars of strange gods, removed their high places, cut down their grooves and destroy their images. He also commanded the people to seek God and obeyed His laws. During his time the land of Judah was quiet, he built fenced cities and prospered. He was also able to raise about 500,000 well equipped Army. The Lord gave him rest for the reformations to take place (2 Chro. 14:1-8). Whatever our God does is glorious (I Tim. 4:4). However God can choose to refine His work whenever He wants (Isaiah 65:17). In this month of January and beyond, God wants us to embark on what will be glorious reforms and He will effect His own. He wants us to do away with anything that is competing with His worship and as such focus more on Him. He wants us to seek and obey Him the more. As we do these, He promised that He will help us to build ‘fortified cities’, He will make us to experience quietness and enjoy rest. He will also prosper us greatly. May all these be our portion as we enter 2014 in Jesus name. Pastor Samuel Obafaiye

THE RCCG (EVERLASTING FATHER’S ASSEMBLY) 2014 PROPHECY. THEME: OUR YEAR OF NEW BEGINNING Exodus 12:2
s 2013 was running to an end. I began to ask God what He will do for us in the year 2014. Few weeks ago, God impressed it on my heart that He is making us to enter into an era of New Beginnings. He said, He will fulfil our time in the year 2014. Our time will be 8 years in 2014, 8 been a number of new beginning. God said, ‘Though I have taken you to a time of completion at 7 years, yet I’m ready to start work on you afresh’. In Gen. 1:1-4, prior to the beginning, God made the heaven and the earth. God reside in heaven, but the earth was without form and void, and also dark. At a later stage, God decided He wanted to make a new beginning with the earth and He began with light and other things, until He could confirm that the earth was equally good. God recently told me that what He intends for Everlasting Father’s Assembly to become is not yet revealed.’I am about to begin anew with you’, He said. ‘I will take you back to Genesis i.e Creation and re-make you’. He said, He will make us into a more impressive form, shape and brilliance.’I will also introduce a new kind of light into you to make your difference from before very obvious’. He said. Do you know that Manufacturers remake their products mainly for two reasons? (1) They identified a fault or error in the system after usage. (2) They just desire to make something nicer; more current or a newer model. God said regarding Everlasting Father’s Assembly, He will repair every faults within our system in 2014. He has also desire to make us into something more glorious. When we started in 2006, we were like something without form and shape, it looks like few people joking. Thank God for then and glory be to God for now. Today, God says, ‘I will start you again in your 8th year’. He said, He will take us back to the things we enjoyed in our first start and then make us to experience even more. God then gave me our anchor scripture as: Exodus 12:2 -This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. The daylight of 1st January shall be the beginning of months and years to us; it shall also be the first month of 2014. Everything that has happened to us before now are just occurrences before our real beginning. He said your enjoyment up till now is just like a test drive. You will now begin to move about confidently and comfortably. Hear again the promise from God to us for 2014. Revelation 21:5-6 -And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. YEAR OF OVERFLOW BLESSINGS General – INDIVIDUALS 1. God says that a divine promise of more than a decade ago will begin to find fulfilment. 2. God Says that someone can expect a prominent divine visitation that will radically alter the cause of his or her life. 3. Daddy says that someone will have the first taste of real dominion. 4. The Lord said that there will be quite a few narrow escapes from tragedies. NIGERIA 1. The Lord says that the future of Nigeria will be determined this year, not in 2015 as some think. 2015 will be mere formalities. 2. The equations at the beginning of this year will be different from the equations at the end of the year, therefore don’t jump into conclusions. INTERNATIONAL 1. There will be more major breakthroughs in Medicine and Science. 2. God wants us to pray against noisy highly destructive storms. 3. God asked us to pray against monumental fire outbreaks. What, My Son?
Proverbs 31:1-17 By Dr Abayomi Sanusi
Introduction AST week thousands were disappointed contemplating the concepts of justice and injustice, as a jury concluded they believed a man was lawfully killed although police could have avoided the messy incident; moreover the victim had thrown out a gun before confrontation such that when he was shot dead, had no gun in his hand. The word ‘belief’ resonated through various justifications, although the same is frequently derided when it applies to Christian faith, the bible and devotion to God. As we pray God uses that incident and its future fall-outs to draw more to His kingdom, and remember the victim’s mother we turn our attention to the passionate plea of another mother in the bible. The prophetic instructions of King Lemuel’s mother remain an important part of scripture, delivering multiple lessons from the heart of God. King Lemuel, though not listed among kings of Judah and Israel, a legitimate king and historical figure, was mentioned twice in the bible. [Prayer: Regardless of whether people know your history, origin, course or destination; God will make your life and impact significant to your generation] There is no doubt this mother loved her son, desired for him the best including the fulfilment of God’s purpose in his life. She wanted him to believe God and consult and follow His word in everything. She also recognised his independence valuing his role as one with authority, domain of jurisdiction, important responsibilities and enormous privileges. Regardless he remained her son, subject to her passionate intercession and motherly teaching. She used potent weapons in appealing for Lemuel’s deepest reflection, referring to their indisputable, fundamental connection: What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows? Some here probably have experienced their own WEEKLY ACTIVITIES mother’s countenance and dispositions during deepest kinds of concern!
