RCCG EFA LEEDS AUGUST 2016 THEME - STAGGERING ACCOMPLISHMENTS

TAGGERING can be defined as very large, shocking or surprising. It can also be defined as causing great astonishment, amazement or dismay. Accomplishment on the other hand is defined as something that has been achieved successfully or an activity that a person can do well. It could also mean something done admirably or creditably. In one of Jesus teaching, He told a parable of the sower. He said, as the sower went out sowing, some of his seed fell on roadside, some on rocky soils, others among thorns, and some fell on good soils. He went further to say that those that fell on the roadside got eaten by birds; those on rocky soils first grew rapidly but soon withered for lack of deep root; those that fell among thorns eventually got choked by the weeds. However, those on good soils were able to bear fruits and some yield fruits that were thirty times more than the planted seeds, others sixty times more and others a hundred times more (Mt. 13:1-8). This shows that in any kind of production, seed sowing or investment, there are different levels of profit, yield or dividend. There is the level of nothing; the level of few; the level of much and the level of too much. In the land of Israel, prophethood is nothing new. It has been in existence from the time of Abraham who himself was called a prophet by God. However, all prophets do not operate on the same level or rating. They can be classified as lower, middle or higher prophets based on their intimacy with God and their ministerial accomplishments. Unarguably, Prophet Elijah belonged to the higher class of prophets. He was able to sealed the heaven from dew and rain; he brought down fire from heaven at will; he raised the dead; etc. In all, the bible recorded about 16 miracles performed by Elijah. Despite all that God used Elijah to do, if one should consider the life of Prophet Elisha, his own accomplishment was staggering. The bible recorded 32 miracles done by Elisha in his lifetime and an extra miracle even in death! I hear the voice of God says, "Many of my sons and daughters have done excellently, but you will surpass them all". This month and beyond, we must trust God for greater grace for staggering accomplishments in our personal lives; in our families and in our ministry. May it be so for us all in Jesus name.

RCCG EFA LEEDS 2016 PROPHECY - OUR YEAR OF “THE ANNUNCIATION”

ANY times God makes promises years before He intends for them to happen. For example, Jesus coming was promised by God as far back as the Garden of Eden (Gen. 3:15) and subsequently by the Prophets (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7; Micah 5:2; etc.). The annunciation proper was later made to Mary by Angel Gabriel when God was ready to fulfil His plan (Lk. 1:26-38). As we were rounding up 2015, God began to tell me what He will do for us in 2016. Some of the things He said: - I have told you before that you will be a City that cannot be hidden; I will begin to fulfil this promise to you from 2016. - Your light shall no longer be hidden anymore. - This will be your year of exclamations of wonders that will be very audible and well perceived. - Your name shall begin to ring pleasing bells where it matters from now on. - You have been doing your assignment quietly, but I will noise your fame abroad from this year. - As nine symbolizes finality of numbers, my final comment to you at this stage is that I am pleased with you. - You have been weighed and found just. In tough and easy times, you have stood firm. Therefore, I will open the doors of the world to you. - You have passed the test of faithfulness after nine years of steadfastness. Now it's your time to be revealed and shown forth. - The Angel of my presence will introduce you to people you will never have been able to speak to. I am particularly expectant for what God has in store for us in 2016, I am very persuaded that it shall be our most successful and impactful year yet in our history as a group.

RCCG 2016 PROPHECY FOR INDIVIDUALS 1 Some families will trace the beginning of their generational blessings to this year. 2. Some will receive help from unexpected sources. Pastor E.A. & Pastor (Mrs) 3. Grateful hearts will have more causes to be FOLU ADEBOYE, GENERAL OVERSEER, RCCG grateful 4. For many, the pendulum of life will generally be on the upward swing 5. A chosen few will receive blessings so large they can hardly contain them FOR NIGERIA 1. Things are likely to get tougher, before they get better, but things will definitely get better before the year ends. 2. What He started last year, He will finish this year, provided we don’t rejoice too soon. INTERNATIONAL 1. Natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, are likely to get progressively worse, until governments realize that these are part of divine judgement against those who have passed unholy laws. If governments will repent of disdaining Christ and His church, He will help them win the fight against terrorism. 2. A major war will be averted this year 3. You Will Recover All Without Fail

By Pastor (Mrs) Anthonia OBAFAIYE Text: 1 Sam. 30: 1-20 HE month of August 2016 has been declared a month of ‘Staggering Accomplishment' by God Almighty through His Prophet as inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Wikipedia Dictionary defines Staggering: as a state of astonishment, amazement, surprise, flabbergasted, leave open- mouthed, or take someone's breath away. Accomplishment on the other hand is defined as something that has been achieved successfully.

There is someone here, you have been enjoying trickles of God's mercy and goodness, but just like an arrow or catapult is launched, you are just about to be shot into another realm of God's glory, you are about to experience the wonders and awesomeness of God like you have never done before. The staggering accomplishment God is about to give you, is going to leave you flabbergasted, it is going to amaze you beyond your dreams, imagination or what you have ever asked of God. I can hear an abundance of rain, may it shower on us with the blessings of God in Jesus name. Brethren God is not a man that He should lie, neither is He the son of man that he should repent, if He has said it He will do it, if He has spoken it, He will make it good in Jesus name. God is the only one that can give staggering accomplishments, vain is the help of man. Brethren if we cast our minds to 1Sam. 15: 1- 3 it is the Amalekites that God instructed King Saul to utterly destroy because of what they did to his people (the children of Israel) when they were making their way through the wilderness to the Promised Land. If we remember very well Saul disobeyed God because he did not fully carry out the instructions of God, it was the same people that tormented David and his men in this Bible passage. Brethren the Goliath we fail to eliminate might come back to torment us, so we need to be careful in our dealings with God, we must act in total obedience to the word Continued on Page 5

and the commands of God. So when David and his Mighty men came back and found out that the Amalekites had raided, struck and burnt Ziklag a place they had made home and carried away their families alive and everything they owned, they did the first thing that every other person would do in the flesh, they wept until they had no more strength to weep. There is someone here this morning and the Lord God Almighty says I should tell you that your days of weeping in the secret are over. The Bible says in the Bk of Psa. 30:5 that weeping might endure in the night but Joy comes in the morning time. The Almighty says I should announce to you that your joy has come in Jesus name. But Brethren I believe that after the weeping session that actually did not yield any results rather than that the mighty men of David began to conspire to stone him because their souls were bitterly grieved for their lost family members. Something came over David and he encouraged and strengthen himself in the Lord his God, David must have remembered the goodness of the Lord from time past, how God had delivered him severally from the Lion, the Bear, Goliath of Gath and several other enemies including Saul who he was running from at that moment, the Bible says in Isa 59:19 that when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him on our behalf. The Spirit of David the Man of War woke up, and he said to Abiatha the Priest Ahimelech’s son bring me the ephod, let me inquire of the Lord the solution to this problem, weeping is not the solution to this problem. Brethren whose counsels will you believe? Who do we consult when we run into troubled waters? The Bible says the arm of flesh will always fail but those that put their trust in The Lord shall not be put to shame, and I declare that as you put your Trust in God you shall not be put to shame in Jesus name. Brethren there is something I want us to understand in this life no matter how popular or how much you might think that people love or like you do not put your trust or rely on them totally, because the Bible made us to understand that the mighty men of David loved him, they were loyal to him, they were ready to sacrifice their lives for their General, if we cast our minds to 2 Sam. 23: 15 – 17 these same men risked their lives and broke through the host of the Philistines army and drew water from the wells of Bethlehem because their General desired water from that well because he was in exile running away from Saul but yet on the day that he needed their encouragement they wanted his head.
