This approach can benefit new homeowners as well by reducing the overwhelm of outfitting a new space and laying the foundation for the rest of your ideas to unfold. Here are some tips to create a vignette in your home:

1. Start Small: Vignettes are all about honing in on specific, small portions of a room. Whether it’s a cozy reading nook, a coffee table arrangement, or a mantelpiece display, choose a focal point in the room to work with.

2. Focal Points: Identifying the focal points in a room, like the first wall you see when you enter or key pieces of furniture, is essential for creating cohesive vignettes. These areas can serve as the foundation for your design efforts.

3. Storytelling: Think about the story or mood you want to convey with your vignette. Is it relaxing and spalike, modern and minimalist, or vintage and eclectic? The objects you select should align with the narrative you’re trying to tell.
