The vibrant colours of their feathers are reminiscent of Argyle’s extraordinary pink diamonds, which exhibit an intensity and saturation of colour unlike anything the world has ever seen.
The Goddess of Love, Pleasure, and Beauty According to Greek legend, Aphrodite was born out of the sea after Cronus castrated Uranus and threw his genitals into the ocean. A beautiful maiden rose up from the foamy sea where Uranus himself had also plunged. The woman, Aphrodite, floated to the shores of Cyprus on a giant scallop shell.
