JESUS KNEW MANKIND AS GOD CREATED MANKIND - as God’s spiritual manifestation of Himself. Jesus brought the sense of man’s native spirituality into human experience, and so healed all those with whom he came in contact who were receptive to this perfected divine understanding. By forgiving and healing sinners he proved that God’s spiritual man is not a sinner, although we can be sure that all human beings clearly appear to be carnal men or sinners. By healing the sick and raising the dead, he proved that God’s spiritual man is not sick or diseased, although humans undoubtedly too often are found to be physically sick and dying. By feeding the multitudes, he proved that man in God’s eyes is not deprived, although human beings most assuredly are in need. Jesus brought man’s native spirituality directly into human lives. But how did he do it? Can we also learn to do as Jesus did by following his commands understandingly? Is not existence based upon a living, divine, fixed Law, or Principle?
