Steph began sewing as a small child. As an adult, she combined that knowledge of sewing with her enthusiasm for human factors and ergonomics to create sewing patterns that are both beautiful and well fitting. The Eli Monster combines the look of vintage with modern, time saving techniques. Steph has contributed the Surfen Cover Up to this issue.
Liz is a mum of two girls from Brisbane, Australia. She has been sewing since she was six years old and now believes she is the luckiest girl in the world to be making her way as the designer behind Thread Faction Studios. She loves the challenge of designing clothes that are as easy to make as they are to wear. Liz has contributed the #121 Ringer Raglan and the #122 Retro Romper to this issue.
Jen is the designer behind Ainslee Fox and the editor at One Thimble. She’s passionate about inspiring self-taught sewists and helping them achieve their sewing dreams. She loves helping you get those ... “Serious!?! You made that?!” moments. Sewing changed her life and now she’s on a mission to help sewing change the lives of others. Jen has contributed the Saltwater Skirt and the Daisy Ray Dress to this issue.
With a love of sewing and creating, Nikki has created a business that she is truly passionate about. Whether it be patterns or fabric, her designs are fun and practical with a modern twist. Nikki has contributed the Riptide Boardshorts to this issue.

Ann was 10 years old when she made her first dress! She had been making dolls clothes from the age of 7 on her little toy sewing machine and her mum thought it was time for her to upgrade to the big electric Singer sewing machine. She’s been sewing and making patterns for herself and others ever since. She has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years. Ann has contributed the Miss Camilla Kaftan to this issue.
Martina has a background in early childhood education which is where her passion to enrich children's play has come from. She began sewing with her mum and nanna from a young age, which gave her the skills to bring you her products. Being creative and seeing little ones learning are both passions of hers. Martina has contributed the Rock Pool Catch Game to this issue.
Sarah is a mum of three, from South Australia. She has a passion for handmade and the value of shopping small. For four years she has been selling quilts and other home décor pieces under the name Piccolo Studio and is now venturing into pattern making, something she is finding both challenging and rewarding. Sarah has contributed the Piccolo Beach Blanket to this issue.
Stephanie blogs and sells patterns at SwoodsonSays.com, with a focus on softies, using up scraps, refashioning, and embroidery. She loves making fun things for her kids to wear and play with! Stephanie has contributed the Big Ocean Appliqués to this issue.
