The White Balance Card
What is bk TargeT? TargeT bk is a tool for digital photography: a particularly resistant calibrated neutral gray card, which allow you to adjust the white balance and ensure a correct exposure of the photographs. With bk TargeT you can white balance on camera when shooting, or in the image processing. Any current photo editor may be employed to do it: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Capture One, GIMP, etc., or any of the specific raw file converters by camera manufacturers. The main feature of the card is its surface color that has an average reflectivity of 18% (in the three channels RGB) and it is free from specular reflection. Our cards are made of glass-ceramic compounds and processes, which gives it a very stable color and surface, both in time and facing threats of all kinds.

How bk TargeT works?
• It is lightweight and easy to carry: it has a diameter of ø67 mm and weights 56 g.
• ø80 mm diameter round disc (ø67 ceramic material plus base) with lanyard. Specially designed for use as a collar and transport it comfortably, carrying it to any quick photo shoot. It weighs 56 g.
The use of bk TargeT card is very simple:
• The surface color is lifetime guaranteed and it is absent of specular reflection. • It can be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods. • Resistant to temperatures above 300º C as well as to surface scratches. • It is an ecological product and 100% recyclable. • Washable (can be submerged in water). • It is very easy to use and compatible with all current photography software.
• 140 x 140 mm square card (120 x 120 mm ceramic material plus base). Especially designed for study work, portrait, etc.. It is compact and easy to carry.
• Take a picture containing the bk TargeT. • During post-processing, use WB tool (to select white balance or neutral gray) and click on the bk TargeT gray area. Alternatively you can set the White Balance on camera, for a shooting, taking a picture of the bk TargeT neutral gray.
• 140 x 215 mm rectangular card. Specially designed for a total adjustment of contrast and tonal gradation of images. With five distinct areas: neutral gray, white with texture, black with texture, Highlights and deep blacks.
• Depending on the software used, save the settings or sync with the rest of the images obtained under the same lighting conditions.
All the elements of the set have the same consistency and resistance than the medium gray area.
