The new terminal’s mission is to act as a linking communications port that unites Barcelona with the rest of Europe, fomenting connecting traffic and improving accessibility to the airport for different means of transport. The building is composed of two blocks under the same roof: one 500 m wide and the other 700 m long. La misión de la nueva terminal es servir como una puerta de enlace de comunicaciones que una Barcelona con el resto de Europa, fomentar el tráfico de conexiones y mejorar la accesibilidad al aeropuerto en las diferentes formas de transporte. El edificio se compone de dos bloques bajo el mismo techo: uno de 500 m de ancho y otro de 700 m de longitud.

The restoration included the south façade’s original architecture, the re-glazing of the north and south pediments and the two vaulted roofs’ reconditioning platforms.

The architectural structures are two boxes 36 metres of length, 3 metres wide and 2.5 metres high, and are situated to create shadows.

This building is part of the development of a new city. The idea was to create a public building, wedding hall and municipal offices. The architects explained that it is a juxtaposition between a building and a sculpture. It is not divided into floors, but it is composed of separate volumes within itself. Esta edificación forma parte del desarrollo de una nueva ciudad. La idea era crear un edificio público, un salón de bodas y las oficinas municipales. Los arquitectos explican que se trata de una yuxtaposición entre un edificio y una escultura. No se divide en plantas, pero se compone de volúmenes independientes entre sí.

The project consists in the conversion of a church into an art pavilion. The rear annex has been completely rebuilt in a contemporary style to form the new pavilion next to the old and restored church, transformed into a concert hall with capacity for 444 persons. El proyecto consiste en la conversión de una iglesia en un pabellón de arte. Junto a la antigua y restaurada iglesia, transformada en una sala de conciertos con capacidad para 444 personas, el anexo trasero ha sido completamente reconstruido en un estilo contemporáneo para formar el pabellón nuevo.
