Where else have you met literary communities? What places have seemed the most supportive or interested in poetry?

Luna Miguel I spoke of Romania before, but you’ve also got Portugal. They’re European countries that nobody pays much attention to, but they have a lot going on. In Italy, too, there seems to be a large network of creators, although I’m not as on the up with it. What I find curious is how difficult it is for us to communicate with each other, or search… I’ve spent years trying to find young poets from France, but there it truly is difficult. Aside from poets like Lysiane Rakotoson or Al-Amin Emran, or writers of fiction like Cécile Coulon, it’s taken me a lot of effort to find young authors. And I even studied French, I’ve lived in France, and I adore their cultures… but how difficult their literary youth have it!

Luna Miguel Antes hablaba de Rumanía, pero también está Portugal. Son países de Europa a los que nadie hace mucho caso, pero que tienen muchísimo movimiento. También en Italia me consta que hay una gran red de creadores, aunque no estoy tan al día en ella. Lo que me resulta curioso es lo difícil que nos resulta comunicarnos entre todos, o buscar… llevo años intentando encontrar poetas jóvenes en Francia, pero allí sí que es difícil, además de poetas Lysiane Rakotoson o AlAmin Emran o narradores como Cécile Coulon, me ha costado mucho encontrar autores jóvenes. Y eso que yo estudié francés, he vivido en Francia, y adoro su cultura… ¡pero qué difícil lo tiene la juventud literaria!
