Vast onderdeel van het programma van Noorderlicht is de Fotosalon, een huiskamer van de noordelijke fotografie. De fotosalon fungeert als bindende factor en stimulator voor beeldmakers uit de drie noordelijke provinciën. Tijdens informele, maar professionele bijeenkomsten ontmoeten beeldmakers en curators elkaar en ontstaat er ruimte voor netwerken, samenwerking en uitwisseling van kennis in een vertrouwde omgeving. A recurring part of Noorderlicht’s program is the Fotosalon, a binding factor and stimulator for image makers from the three northern provinces. During informal, but professional meetings, image makers and curators meet each other, do presentations of their work and have the opportunity to network and exchange knowledge in a familiar environment.
