Meet our great Ukrainian teachers…. Dasha It was 4 years ago when I first came to LSE to improve my English and take some international exams in order to go and study abroad. During my 1st year of studying here, I was amazed at how quickly you can expand your knowledge in English as the teachers are professionals. Starting from that point I decided to change my career completely and become a teacher. A professional English teacher is your guiding star if you work hard, no matter which of your

dreams is connected with English. So, during the past three years I’ve passed FCE, CAE and got my CELTA certificate this summer, too. Now I’m the happiest teacher because I work at LSE and have some of the most experienced colleagues. All I can say is that dreams come true if you are ready to work hard and put in the effort! Good luck! Dasha

Olga I’ve been working for LSE for the past 5 years and appreciate being given the opportunity to develop professional skills through attending a range of workshops and training sessions. The teachers are encouraged to take exams and gain international certificates. In addition to this, the school organises excellent social events for

students and staff which allow us to have a lot of fun and get to know each other better. I really like my colleagues who are very friendly, helpful and have a good sense of humour and I enjoy teaching my students who are also

Natasha My first acquaintance with LSE was more than 10 years ago when it wasn’t really a school, but just a bookshop that dealt with promotion of a wide range of course books, teaching books, fiction and other materials for studying and teaching English. It was one of the promotional seminars that LSE ran for English teachers like myself which made me challenge my teaching philosophy. After that I realized that teaching English might not only be reading, translating and learning the rules like in most secondary schools, but something more enjoyable for

both students and teachers. I was fascinated with the whole array of communicative activities which were presented during the seminars and it changed my views and helped me to have a more positive outlook on teaching as a whole. So now I work for LSE and I really love my students and enjoy working here! I think it is a real advantage to have such experience as working alongside my colleagues who are both international and Ukrainian. And on top of that, it’s really great to have the opportunity for personal and professional development.

Yuliya Hello! My name is Juliya and I’ve been working for LSE for about 6 years. I like it here very much because the school and the students are great! We’ve got lots of wonderful social events and parties for our staff and students, so I’m sure once you have decided to join our school you will never regret your choice.

Galina Hi! My name’s Galina and I’ve been teaching English for more than 5 years here. I’m from Donetsk and I like this place very much. I teach different levels and that’s why my work is never boring. In my free time I enjoy numerous things such as photography and - if the weather is nice painting. Sometimes, if I am inspired, I read historical books. I love travelling, especially to European

countries. I usually travel in spring, when there aren’t many people and you have a chance to take nice photos without waiting for the crowds to vanish. Just a little something that you may not know about me; I have a pet. It's a big grey parrot. He's very talkative and sometimes very naughty –he always tries to spoil either my camera or my laptop.
