or four years, commercial businesses and nonprofit organizations have joined forces to create the GreenZONE, the largest exhibition of products, services and ideas for eco-conscious living and sustainable
lifestyles in the Kansas City area. The GreenZONE is located in the Exhibit Hall of the Remodeling Show. Look for the “Green Earth” logo throughout the Show. Numerous exhibitors in the GreenZONE and throughout the Remodeling Show will be displaying Green Earth decals that indicate exhibitors who offer products or services that conform to the U.S. Green Building Council’s guidelines for green products and services. Reed Timmer, adrenaline-charged meteorologist and star of Discovery Channel’s Storm Chasers, will speak daily on the GreenZONE stage. He was the first person in history to capture high-definition video inside a tornado. Timmer will speak on climate change and its relationship to the growing number of extreme storms, as well as his storm-chasing adventures, at the following times:
