When we talk about team care, we very much include you on the team. In practice, we want the clinic – not just your primary care provider – to be the first place you think of when you need health care. We don’t want you to wait or go to the emergency room unnecessarily. Team care allows us to see you more rapidly when you are ill and to schedule regular check-ups as a way to help you maintain your health. This is a long-term process that involves everyone in the Open Door system – including our patients.
