Estimated Maximum Payload*

For Vehicles Without Trailer*

The maximum load we can put in your vehicle is equal to Gross Vehicle Mass Rating of your vehicle, less Kerb Weight of your vehicle, less Mass of passengers and driver, less Mass of pre-loaded items, less Mass of accessories installed on the vehicle that don’t come stock standard (bulbar, roof rack, toolbox, etc.)

*The Gross Vehicle Mass Rating must not be exceeded.

For Vehicles With Trailer*

The maximum load we can put in your trailer is equal to Gross Trailer Mass Rating of your trailer, less Tare Mass of your trailer, less Mass of pre-loaded items.

*The towing capacity and Gross Combined Vehicle Mass Rating of your vehicle must not be exceeded.

It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure that they do not exceed any of the ratings.

Gross Vehicle Mass Rating is the maximum allowable weight of the vehicle including all its occupants, luggage, and the tow-ball mass. The GVMR is set by the manufacturer and cannot be exceeded.

Kerb Weight is the vehicle weight with only a full tank of fuel and nothing else.

Gross Trailer Mass Rating is the total mass that can be imposed on the trailer’s axle when the trailer is fully loaded and coupled to the towing vehicle.

Tare Mass of Trailer is the actual weight of the trailer without any load. It will be stamped on the trailer by the manufacturer.

Gross Combined Vehicle Mass Rating is the maximum that a vehicle plus its load, including trailer, is permitted to weigh.
