Banaoang pump irrigation project
A medium-scale, foreign-assisted project of the National Irrigation Administration (NIA), the Banaoang Pump Irrigation Project (BPIP) in Ilocos Sur's 1st district aims:to increase agricultural production through irrigation and drainage infrastructures, increase the income of farmers and generate additional employment opportunities for residents.The project, implemented by the NIA-BPIP Project Management Office in Bahet, San Ildefonso,. is expected to be completed by the end of 2009.
