Dear readers, Finally, the month we were all waiting for during these three freezing months freezingis here: say hello to march! Say goodbye to winter and welcome spring with the biggest smile ever on your faces. Flowers bloom, the sun becomes brighter and everything seems sweeter. What on earth could make us sad in this wonderful time of the year? February has been the month of love and stuff like that, but March is the beginning of what will eventually become summer! Isn't that cooler? C'mon, everybody knows love blooms in summer! Heat, sun, birds humming... and tons of news for you, guys! Together with heat we're here again, like every month, just to entertain you guys. In this month's issue you will find interviews, spectacular photographs and a lot of awesomenly awesome articles about everything and more. Do you know where the story of the easter eggs was born? No? That's what you'll find in this issue, together with other amazing stuff like an interview about a spectacular radio project! Spring has finally arrived and, like every year, a new wind is expected. Well, our thirst for curiosity and renewal has been fulfilled with a new event! We present The Expo Event, a new initiative that sees as a central theme the nations of the world. Yes, remember the Expo in Milan? Here it is! A shopping event that will have a different state each month as a source of inspiration. You are wondering what it consists in the specific, well, after a long reading and a pleasant chat I can tell you that The Expo wants to test the culture and imagination, as well as the talent, of the community of SL designers. It may seem very simple but sometimes it is difficult to choose what is the right thing to represent one's own vision of the country to which one belongs, or -even more difficultto discover and interpret in the correct way what a foreign nation represents.

To inaugurate this event, the "godmother" nation will be Italy, the motherland of great SL designers and also of the two organizers. And to celebrate this novelty, I was able to interview Juna -last year I had the pleasure of interviewing her- and Achille Wirefly, the coordinators of this event which will start in April. Mafalda: Hello, thanks for your availability, let's start our interview: I'm so curious! Could you better explain to our readers the event you are organizing and which will be open from next month? Juna: The Expo Fair is a monthly event that welcomes designers who are distinguished by their artistic creativity.It is an event open to any talented designer and that treats all kinds of products such as skins, shapes, clothes, accessories, furniture and more, which creates items for both men and women. In short: space for creativity. Achille: In fact, as Juna has just said, The expo

Mafalda: From where was the idea of this event, which is very similar to the Expo (precisely) held in Milan a few years ago, born? Juna: The idea was born from the desire to do something different in SL: a theme event on the various countries of the world. We will begin in April with only Italian designers, and then open up to other talented creators from other countries. Achille: We wanted to offer something unique and special for everyone. We spent a lot of time thinking about something innovative and the idea was born by itself after the decision to make a departure all Italian. As for the name, yes, the Milan expo undoubtedly had its right influence. Mafalda: It is a very important and complex task to look for designers who want to dedicate themselves to an event that is focused on a nation rather than on a specific topic as in other events, right? Juna: Yes! The hardest thing is overcoming designers' right distrust towards something new! We are very proud of the fact that many established designers believed in us and enthusiastically agreed to join this project. Every month we will visit virtually through the creativity of designers, a different country!

Mafalda: In your opinion what will be the real challenge of this project and, above all, what will be the nations that you think will be the most interesting? Juna: We have already won the initial challenge: to gather many talented Italians all in the same fair! Surely the next challenge, in addition to pure organization, will be to intrigue customers! We will open with Italy in April, but then there will be Japan, Mexico, passing through France, America and England. Each designer will have to represent with his own creations a detail that reminds these nations, and I am sure that every month will be innovative and interesting! Achille: The real challenge started when we decided to create the project! Contacting designers with a specific provenance is undoubtedly difficult but not impossible. Another challenge will be the organization of the stands, many stores treat parts for the body, other objects and other urban, vintage and some even fantasy clothing; the organizational complication will therefore be giving a clear order to all these categories of items so as to avoid that two similar stores are close and we must make close competition between them but also ensure that there is uniformity with the style and category of the store next. On the themes, I think that the first one, that is Italy, could be very interesting and particular but also Russia and England could reserve surprises. Mafalda: I'll ask you a question that surely our readers interested in participating are asking themselves: to participate in each round you must be from the chosen country for that month, or anyone can try to join the round of a foreign nation? Juna: We have intentionally started with only Italians for a sort of Italian desire and a touch of pride in being Italian: there are so many talented designers who hold high the Italian flag... allow me this patriotic digression! From the month of May, registrations will be open to any designer who wants to participate, regardless of their nationality! Achille: With the exception of the first round where we will be Italian soloists, from May onwards anyone will be able to participate in the event as designers after completing the application. The important thing is that the main theme will be respected at the end. Obviously if you decide to participate in a round whose country coincides with your own origins, you will be advantaged!

Many many years ago, during the time of dragons and castles, there was a beautiful Goddess named Eostre. The Goddess had long thick hair the colour of golden wheat, and her eyes were as blue as the sky above. Eostre was the Goddess of Spring, and it was her job to make sure that the Earth awakened from its winter sleep. During Spring the world came alive. Birds would chirp from the trees as they built nests for the little eggs that would soon hatch into baby birds. Butterflies came out of their cocoons wearing wings of gorgeous colours. All the mother animals of the world gave birth to babies, and beautiful flowers opened their petals. Spring was a time of new beginnings. It was a time to celebrate. Every year, on the first day of Spring, Eostre held a huge Spring Festival in the meadow. Animals and children from all over the world would attend and bring gifts for the Goddess of Spring to show how happy they were with the fresh new season.

One year, on the day before the festival, the hare wanted to give Eostre a gift. But the hare had nothing that would be fit for a Goddess. The hare was very poor and he had a hard enough time feeding himself, never mind giving a gift to someone. That day while searching through the forest for some food, the hare found a fresh egg in the grass. He was very hungry and sat down to enjoy his found lunch. He was about to crack open the egg when he suddenly stopped. "This egg would make a nice gift for Eostre," he thought to himself. "An egg symbolizes birth and Spring. Yes, a very nice gift indeed." So the hare hopped home to decorate the egg.

The next day the hare went to the meadow and hopped up to the Goddess. He shyly presented her with his gift. Eostre took one look at the egg and gave the hare a huge smile. It was a beautiful egg. The hare had painted the egg with lovely designs coloured from the dyes of roses, buttercups and other plants. He had then sealed the egg with beeswax so that it would be shiny. The Goddess was so happy with the gift that she wanted everyone to have one and share her joy. Eostre knew that the hare was very poor and to give her the egg was a very unselfish act. He could have eaten it and had his belly filled. Eostre decided to reward the hare.

That day, the Goddess of Spring told the hare that he could come and live in her castle. He would have only one job, and that would be to deliver a decorated egg to children around the world, for Eostre loved children. Children symbolized birth and innocence. The eggs would be delivered on the eve of the Spring Festival, so that the children would wake up and find them in the morning. And so every year, Eostre's bunny and his descendants would deliver eggs to the children. Today we call the hare the Easter Bunny, because the Sunday after the first full moon of the Spring Equinox is Easter Sunday, a Christian celebration. Besides, Easter egg is a lot easier to say than Eostre egg.

-How was the project of the radio born? Which were your objectives when you began? AmiciRadio was born the 29th of January 2005 from friendship and complicity of two great friends: Tatiana Khaos e Kucciolodeeejay Galaga. Their friendship was born in the Mirc’s channels thanks to their great passion: MUSIC. As we wrote before, AmiciRadio was born from a Kucciolo and Tatiana’s idea during their musical adventure on Mirc’s channels; Kucciolo and other Djs, with Tatiana’s help, used to broadcast radio shows on other radios, when Tatiana got the idea of creating with Kucciolo their own radio and to call it AmiciRadioNetwork. For awhile, AmiciRadio was just on the Mirc’s channels, until Tatiana discovered SL and, fascinated by this wonderful experience, she decided to ask her Djs to try this new experience: Second Life. This new world gets slowly shaped, musical nights and events become more and more numerous and here comes the necessity of a bigger “DJ and Wj family”. It’s in that period that Samira79 becomes part of this beautiful family too: “AmiciRadio”. Years go by, a series of events, whether they’re beautiful or less, take place, but the love for music of Tatiana, Kucciolo and Samira keep this beautiful radio alive. Unfortunately, the 26th of March 2014, the unforeseen loss of Tatiana left us all breathless; the air that gave life seemed to have disappeared, everything seemed to collapse, but that’s the moment when the AmiciRadio becomes more united and with Kucciolo and Samira’s stubbornness and tenacity “my Baby” (as Tatiana called it) took flight. The staff grows in number, new Djs and Wjs get selected to maintain active not only SL events but also the web channels and recently also the Mirc ones. Everyone according to their abilities help with keeping alive Tatiana’s hope: “AmiciRadio”.

-Your radio is made up by only Italian members or have you got people of different nationalities in your team? Which is your time table? Since 2005 a lot of people passed by in the Staff, but after Tatiana’s sad departing, with Giaku Tisane, Francesco Hunke e Silvia Galaga’s help we have worked hard and we took care of Tatiana’s Baby. In this last year the Staff has grown, everyone according to their abilities brings a breath of life for the radio. Our staff is made up mainly by Italians, but we recently have welcomed in our family a Spanish guy that accompanies us during nights… The events take place mostly in the evening, after dinner time, because we all work in RL so that’s the time we have; there are events like the Harvey Memorial Festival that saw us busy also in the afternoon and in the night, but for raising funds in order to help research for ALS deserve a little effort.

Our plans for the future are to keep on doing what we’re already doing, so “Full speed ahead” with our events, and to bring Tatiana’s Baby higher and higher, as she always wished for. And for this we want to thank all the friends that listen to us and accompany us everyday with their sympathy and happiness, the lands that chose AmiciRadio as official radio of their days on SL, all the friends that listen to us online, from Mirc and from their smartphones and tablets with the app Tunein. But a very special thanks goes to Tatiana, who left us this beautiful memory to keep and to cultivate together with all the friends, whether they met her or not, and who decided to make it grow with us more and more.
