Set in the recreational heart of Lakes Country, this campus offers hands-on programs in high-demand fields like healthcare to fully prepare you for a rewarding and successful career. Our workforce development division, headquartered here, partners with 500 regional businesses to provide skills and technical training to thousands of people every year.

FERGUS FALLS

Experience a university-like atmosphere at this two-year community college campus. The Fergus Falls campus features fine arts exhibits, theatrical performances, Spartan athletics, student housing facilities, an oncampus dining area, fitness center and engaging student life.

MOORHEAD

This diverse campus is set in a vibrant metropolitan area and is known for its leading-edge technologies and wide array of academic programs. Take advantage of the on-campus fitness center and dining area. Get involved with more than a dozen activities with the campus’s assortment of student clubs and activities.

WADENA

With its recently-renovated student services center and friendly staff, this campus has a reputation for its approachable, welcoming atmosphere. Real-world classroom environments, like those of our Cosmetology or Electrical Lineworker Technology programs, prepare you for success in the job market in as little as nine months.

FLEXIBILITY ONLINE

We understand how important flexibility is as you balance school, work and household schedules. Our online courses offer the convenience and comfort of studying from home, all while continuing to provide the same high quality as any other M State courses. All online courses are taught by M State instructors, and online students benefit from the same academic and support services as their on-campus peers.

COLLEGE CREDITS IN HIGH SCHOOL

Our Post-Secondary Enrollment Options program, or PSEO, offers 10th, 11th and 12th grade high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses, with credits earned applying toward both their high school graduation and college degree requirements. Students in the PSEO program benefit from no-cost tuition and textbooks. Through PSEO, it’s possible for a student to graduate from high school with a twoyear M State degree already complete. SEAMLESS OPTIONS

Save time and money as you work toward your four-year degree by starting here at M State. We’re part of the Minnesota State system’s Transfer Pathway program, which makes it possible for our students to complete the first two years of their degree here and then transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at any Minnesota State university. Transfers are seamless, meaning there are no credits lost or extra courses needed. Advising specialists on each campus will work with you to create your transfer plan, and we’ll provide the support and resources needed to ensure a smooth transfer experience.

In addition to our wealth of online resources, our campuses each have a Student Services department fully equipped to serve as your one-stop shop for help with admissions, advising, counseling, financial aid, student records, veteran services and more. CAREER NETWORK

With hundreds of regional business and industry partners looking to hire our skilled graduates, M State has one of the highest job placement rates in the state: 95% of our graduates go on to work in their fields of study. Our broad range of career programs will have you in the workforce in two years or less. Every year, more than 1,000 M State students complete internships and program clinicals that provide hands-on experience and open doors to employment. Our Career Services department provides access and opportunity for students to develop their own personalized career track, connect with employers, find job openings, and get job search support. You get an education that’s both personal and affordable at M State. Our low tuition rates are a win for all students, and thanks to special grant and scholarship programs, more than half of M State students attend tuition-free each year. We’ve committed to growing that percentage to 75% by 2025.

M State has two foundations that raise funds for student scholarships and programs, we offer a growing number of Zero Textbook Cost Degrees and courses, and our financial aid specialists are always ready to help you understand your financial aid options.

NORTH STAR PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP

North Star Promise Scholarship program will create a tuition and fee-free pathway to higher education for eligible Minnesota residents. Visit www.ohe.state.mn.us for more information.

MINNESOTA FUTURE TOGETHER GRANTS

Minnesota Future Together Grants will provide eligible Minnesotans with a tuition-free pathway for earning a certificate, diploma, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree at any public institution in the state. Visit www.ohe.state.mn.us for more details.

SCAN TO APPLY Note: Each year the college publishes the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report. This report informs the campuses of campus crime prevention programs, crime reporting procedures, emergency response and a three-year statistical history of criminal activity on the college campuses. Notification of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is distributed annually to students and employees at the start of each academic term (no later than October 1st). Prospective students can obtain this information from the college website at minnesota.edu/righttoknow or can request a printed copy in Student Development Services on any M State campus, between 8 am and 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
