WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS WITH NMPAT

In February 2024, NMPAT enabled over 200 primary school students to participate in residential courses, at the Rock UK Frontier Centre, playing in ensembles for the first time. These students have weekly instrumental lessons, in school, with an NMPAT teacher, and the courses provide an opportunity for them to meet other like-minded young people, forming friendships that last beyond the end-ofcourse performances, and experience making music with others. Following the residential course, each cohort of students is invited to perform as part of the NMPAT Spring Festival of Music. Each concert celebrates a particular family of instruments and features performances from the most junior students up to the youth level County Ensembles - sharing aspiration and inspiration. Ask your school about opportunities for lessons with NMPAT or visit their website.
