A Bug’s Life Camp Ms. Erin & Ms. Nia

Campers learned about the wonderful world of insects! Did you know that there are more bugs on the planet that all the animals & plants combined? Campers donned a beekeeper’s uniform, hunted for bugs around Millhopper campus & created fun crafts. They even played with food, created insects with edible clay, tried worms & dirt & munched on gummy beetles! They had a blast learning about our buggy friends.

Animal Kingdom Camp Ms. Crystal & Ms. Elizabeth

The Little House & the PreschoolKindergarten class brought new friends who are having first experiences being at school. There have been a few tears but fun activities and learning moments as well. This week’s theme was animals and the students decorated an animal mask with dot markers. They also played animal games & usual Practical Life, Sensorial, math, language, & science works. The children worked with Play-Doh & collected beanbags on the playground. Overall, it was a fun week in the Little House! ***See email for a detailed summary of what this camp offers by Ms. Elizabeth***

Photography Camp Mr. Richard & Ms. Susan & Ms. Sylvia

Wide World Sports Camp “Run like Someone is Chasing You!”

Coach Cam

This week rocked! Campers & Staff alike greatly enjoyed their football themed week. Each day campers worked on a skill of the game; throwing, catching, kickoffs (with a twist), punting, & elusiveness. Twice daily teams competed in a flag football game, with big emphasis on sportsmanship & team concept. Indoors, they created designs for cleats & jerseys, played paper football tournaments and watched football related sports science videos during lunch. The week was action packed!

Filmmaker’s Camp Ms. Sylvia

Young Filmmaker’s worked diligently on commercials, one promoting staying active. For a recap of the week, they created a commercial in which they talked about different camps. They learned the process of editing & filming. Also, they set up a studio in which they will be able to film.
