This week we enjoyed Fairy Tale themed work and activities. The students enjoyed dress-up clothes, felt boards with fairies and other story characters, themed lacing works, coloring sheets, and more. The castle with figures for imaginative play and the puppet theatre with fairy, witch, wizard, and queen puppets were both big hits. Students performed their own shows for their classmates at the puppet theatre window. The students enjoyed Ms. Crystal telling the story of the Three Little Pigs with a story glove. Just ask your child and I'm sure he or she will "huff and puff and blow your house down." Students made fairy wands and dragons with

help from our two junior camp counselors and created sticker scenes. We sang each day and had Spanish three days with Ms. Jeanne-Marie. Several days this week the students enjoyed playing musical instruments and having bean-bag coordination activities. Dress-up day was enjoyed by all, and we had an abundance of characters. Splash day has been going swimmingly. Students have enjoyed the small pool, sprinklers, and the water slide. The water slide is a big thrill that some children enjoy going down repeatedly where as some students brave it for the single trip and feel very accomplished. Thank you for being at Summer camp this week.
