WELCOME Founded in 1977, Millhopper Montessori School, LLC is an accredited independent school serving children ages Preschool through Middle School. Millhopper Montessori School, LLC is dedicated to nurturing children’s innate love of learning and preparing them as they create, discover, excel and lead. By following Montessori principles, Millhopper Montessori School, LLC offers a competitive academic curriculum adapted to each child, a supportive environment that builds the growth of self-confidence and independence, and a community that nurtures a child’s spirit by demonstrating a respect for others and a celebration of diversity. Each classroom provides a stimulating environment where each child is inspired to explore and seek out new knowledge and confidently reach his or her academic potential. Millhopper Montessori School curriculum seeks to integrate core knowledge areas with math, science, technology, the arts, Spanish and the world beyond the classroom. In each classroom the students ages ranges two or three years. This helps each child develop leadership skills, intrinsic motivation, and a sense of community. Adherence to core Montessori tenets and the quality of educational and administrative staff ensure that each child fosters problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills necessary to be successful. Our students go on to some of the finest secondary schools in Gainesville and are very well prepared the academic challenges ahead. We would like to extend a special invitation to your family to re-enroll for the 2012-2013 school year. If there is a sibling that you would like to enroll, please let the Director of Admissions know and an additional enrollment package will be provided. The Enrollment Fee is non-refundable and is due at the time of enrollment whether paying annually, semi-annually, or in ten monthly payments.

I understand and agree to abide by the policies and procedures as set forth in the Millhopper Montessori School Parent Handbook located on the school’s web site (Millhopper.com). I understand that policies and procedures are subject to change and agree that it is my responsibility to stay informed through reading the school’s weekly e-mails, newsletters, classroom letters and information on the school’s web site.

I understand that Millhopper Montessori School, LLC may terminate enrollment of my child and start collection proceedings if an outstanding balance remains unpaid and attains delinquent status. I understand and agree that I will be held responsible for all costs, expenses and interest at the current legal rate, including but not limited to, attorney fees, collection agency fees and court costs incurred by Millhopper Montessori School, LLC in order to remedy any breach of this contract.

Tuition payments are due by the 7th of each month. A late fee of $35 will be applied to any invoice that is more than two weeks past due. Millhopper Montessori School, LLC reserves the right to assess a 12% charge per month on any balances including tuition and other fees that are past due by 90 days or more. In the event payments are more than 90 days late, your child will be asked to leave school until the account is brought current. We also reserve the right to pursue legal means to secure payment on delinquent accounts and reserves the right to include any collection costs in the unpaid balance. A family will not be permitted to re-enroll their child the following year if their account is not paid in full. Academic Student Performance Records will not be released until all accounts are paid in full.

Should any family experience unusual or unpredictable financial hardships, it is their responsibility to consult with the Director of Admissions. It has been our policy to make every effort to assist families to make arrangements for payments.

When are payments due? If you choose the ten monthly payment plan, monthly invoices will be e-mailed to you the first business day of August through May and payments are due no later than the 7th of the month in which you received your bill. Morning and After School Program charges will appear on your monthly invoice starting in September.

Extended Day Information: Morning Program:

7:00 AM-8:45 AM $5.00 per hour - this program is open to all students - no diaper service available 7:00 AM-8:20 AM for Middle School

After School Program:

3:15 PM (3:30 PM for 6th-8th Grade) -6:00 PM $5.00 per hour - children must be 3 and potty trained to use this program

A $1.00 per minute charge will commence at 6:00 PM

Discounts: For families with more than one child attending full time, the lowest enrollment deposit fee for the second and each subsequent child is waived. A family's second and each subsequent child will be charged half price for the Morning Program and the After School Program. Families paying the annual payment receive a 3% discount and Families paying the semi-annual payments receive a 2% - the discount has been factored into the tuition schedule.

TUITION CONTRACT/ENROLLMENT FEE & WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE I, _______________________________________ understand the tuition terms for the 2012-2013 (Parent’s name)

enrollment fee is non-refundable if I withdraw my child or if my child is dismissed. I also understand that I am responsible for the remaining months of the school year through the end of May 2013 if I withdraw my child before that time. The Millhopper Montessori School, LLC reserves the right to place any child in a class, which matches his/her developmental needs. The school considers boy/girl ratios and age balances within each class when assigning students to a class. Students returning to a class with the same teacher will remain with that teacher for the years the class is designed unless a parent/teacher conference occurs and a change is agreed upon for the benefit of the child. Parents can request a class, but final decisions are given to the placement team, Director, Administrator and grade level teacher. LATE FEES: After the 7th of each month there will be a late fee of $35.00 on all unpaid balances; after the 10th of each month there will be a 12% finance charge on all unpaid balances. In the event it becomes necessary for Millhopper Montessori School, LLC to retain the services of an attorney for collection of any sums due under the terms of this contract, whether suit be brought or not, and including costs and fees for an appeal of a lower court decision, I agree to pay said attorney fees and any cost incurred in the collection.
