Antiholinergici se ne preporu~uju u terapiji ulkusne bolesti jer mogu dovesti do retencije urina i napada glaukoma. Omeprazol se ne preporu~uje leti u vreme crevnih infekcija. Sulindak (antireumatik) je okrivljen za slu~aj pankreatitisa, a ~itav niz lekova za leziju jetre (86). Ta~nost dijagnoze i odmerena primena lekova ~ini se od primarne va`nosti u gerijatrijskoj praksi, jer su nuz pojave lekova ~este i ozbiljne.(61)
