Mental Health Awareness Week

M

ay 8th 2017 sees the start of Mental Health Awareness week. Over the years at enitial we've seen the significant impact mental health issues can have on an individual and their families. A number of our own employees have experienced health concerns of this nature, sometimes affecting those who have least expected to be affected so it really can affect any one of us. We consider awareness and acceptance that such issues exist a really important part of our duty of care towards our employees and we hope that our workforce share this acceptance. We may not be experts in the field of mental health but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be aware of it and the impact it has on people's lives. Please do take the time to read the information we've pulled together in aid of the Awareness week and consider how such issues may affect you or those around you. We are all diverse and all have different challenges in life.

“When “I” is replaced by “we”, illness becomes wellness,,”
