Bioaerosol services Bioaerosol is a term used to define a microorganism that is suspended in the air. These microorganisms are derived from plants, organic matter, animals and humans and contain fungi and bacteria. Bioaerosols are generally less than 10m in size and due to their airborne nature, can penetrate the human respiratory system, resulting in inflammatory and allergic reactions to those with lowered immune systems.
