SKILLS

Woodworking, welding, 3D Printing, CAD, and so much more. There’s nothing I won’t try my hand at.

GRAPHICS

Digital to physical, I have my own simplistic style that understands the client and user.

PRODUCTS

Conscientious from the earth to sea, I’m ambitious in finding solutions to big problems.

APPAREL

Being able to use my hands and make something functional has always fascinated me.

HOBBY

Drawing isn’t just a hobby, it’s a passion, so when I draw, you know I feel every stroke.

I like to be different, interesting and fun. This comes across in my personality and my work. Design is my life, nothing excites me more than when I’m being creative.

As a technician, knowing how to use, demonstrate and teach others about laser cutters and 3D printers, has helped me to develop advanced skills in both technologies.

Accessibility and organisation go hand in hand through physical design problems I have solved with practical displays, storage solutions and knowledge access.

Teaching SolidWorks to secondary school students has accelerated my understanding of the program and surpassed all expectations myself and my manager had in their learning.

Project Management of over 100 students practical aspects of their coursework and of large school displays brings constant challenges and opportunities.

New brand, new logos. With the school taking on a naval persona, I designed the school’s House logos.

Mixing creative suite programs and 3D modelling, I am experienced in branding, email campaigning and marketing material production.

Children learn in a variety of ways, but mostly from visual stimuli. I turned my love of design into large displays that convey important design industry information, simply.

Logos, logos, logos. It is a pleasure to be a part of someone’s brand and image, designing something that speaks volumes about them.

1. POS displays for Cardiff University based cafe (The Kitchen c.2011). 2. Awards for an International Women’s Day event.

When you let on how good you are at something, you have to prove it, beat past self best, and deliver. School awards, usually coming in batches of 20, individually laser engraved.

Adaptable to other 3D modelling programs, examples here show my recreation of client houses using Google SketchUp.

By combining contrasting materials and manufacturing techniques, unique and interesting products can be created; Awards, gifts and students’ coursework (1).

Early into my design career (c.2013), textile and glass recycling saw me develop my manufacturing skills, better understanding batch production processes.

Never not learning, I undertook two A-level courses in Textile Technology whilst working to experiment with new technologies and materials. Always fun to learn new things.

More close up examples of my textile products. 1. A laptop case gift made from a hoodie. 2. Recycled textile products.

Any opportunity to make something gets my creative groove going. 1. Knife sheath commission. 2. My own seatbelt bag. 3. Skyrim stencil print journal gift.

CrackedSkullDesigns is my pseudonym I make and sell recycled products under. The majority of my wares are made from bicycle innertubes. Versatile and robust.

Innertube belts and guitar straps incorporating individual ties for added uniqueness. These form the basis of CSDs product catalogue.

Sketching is a natural stress reliever and creative outlet I use to effectively communicate ideas. I solemnly enjoy this processes, turning mine and others imagination into a reality.

A noteworthy piece of packaging I devised for being 100% compost-able after use.
