Brief: My role as Marketing and Sales Assistant for the Newgale YMCA, saw me producing marketing material for both online and print purposes. I also managed the company website and social media pages.

TEXTILE DESIGN
Brief: Working for Ten Green Bottles, a social enterprise that upcycles glass and textiles, I have created a range of products using recycled materials, mainly textiles.

Brief: For some industry experience I was given free reign on designing a new packaging range for a new line of beauty products from Metabolics.

Brief: Clients need logos to convey their brand, business, personality or even their emotions. I work closely with the client to create the right logo for them.

hands-on design
Brief: In my spare time I design and make upcycled products from recycled materials. Broken bicycle innertubes form the basis of the majority of my products.

Brief: Design a high end media player for audiophiles, utilising eco-friendly manufacturing facilities and high quality materials.

freelance work
Brief: Using architectural drawings and reference pictures, I had to create 3D models of client houses. This was used by an architect to help the client visualise the building process.

Brief: Research an area of science (in this case Biomimicry, Smart Materials and Nanotechnology) and use your findings to design a new product or enhance an existing one.

Brief: Research and design a new product for an injection moulding plastics company. I chose to target the adventurous type and make a rugged thermos flask.

Brief: Understand a chosen consumer; their needs, any problems they face, and design a product that alleviates the problem.

Brief: Whilst working as a coffee barista, I identified the need for a product display piece and an interchangeable menu board. I designed and made both items.

erasmus project
Brief: During a programme called “Green Products Through a Multicoloured Approach�, myself and my Belgian and Portuguese counterparts designed a new environmentally friendly bus shelter. We utilised advances in cement production and concrete use.
